Politics Violence against Nazis, acceptable?

Take away someones ability to earn a living and you say they aren't coerced? Get your head out of the sand or your arse or wherever it is.
So go and get vaccinated.
No sympathy from this health care worker
You can choose to be unvaccinated but there’s a price. You make your choice to lose work.
No tears for you.

I think public health measures are unfortunate but necessary. Blanket mandates in, say, the public service are an abandonment of an opportunity to build healthier work places by an organisation that has the resources to lead in this area.

Health workers had flu vaccine mandates already in place. Adding the Covid vaccine was a no-brainer.
And as a country we already have “no jab no play” re childcare

Love that you’re a health care worker. The industry has been working for the betterment of everyone and has steered us through an unprecedented time. You deserve a massive pay rise. Health and medicine in society is everything. Without it we’d be dying of infected toenails. You sir, deserve a beer and a bloody great cheque to cash.

Thanks but it’s really my nurses who do the real work

I mean, I've never been to an ANZAC Parade myself, but it seems logical, that, you guys in here who would love to punch NAZI's if given the chance, would love the legacy of the ANZACS because they were the men who with the Allies fought the NAZI's; and won! But each and every single one of you are very critical of its legacy. On the surface, that's very strange.

umm anzacs world war 1 and the germans weren't nazis then... (nit picky I know)
and maybe youve been more attentive to the other's posts but I don't recall seeing them critical of anzac legacy. Critical of over glorification of the legacy, yes...

You know what else is strange? That you seem to be against people that don't like nazis..,..

The anti vaxxer protests were absolutely filled with far right people and their sympathisers and sycophants. The low IQ people attending those things absolutely knew the score.

Anyone saying otherwise is just being dishonest.

Also while it is nothing to do with the ANZACs and the sacrifices of those soldiers (and I must say I dislike both the left and the rights tendency to dig up their corpses and use them as ventriloquist dummies to score political points I doubt a lot of them would care about if they were alive), the legacy of WW1 is the creation of the Nazi's, and I think arguably the rise in Islamic extremism.

The way the Ottoman Empire split apart and the disproportionate and vindictive economic destruction of Germany inflicted punishment on people who had zero say and shared blame in the rampant imperialism of their governments (an imperialism which I really don't think was at all dissimilar to the imperialism of the Allied powers in the same era) and set the scene for extremist demagogues to vacuum up power and influence. If Germany didn't go through a period where burning ones paycheck provided more warmth than buying wood with it would have would Hitler have found a sympathetic ear?

The Nazi's were an unquestionably evil organization and I think they are retrospectively used to color the narrative of WWI in a way that isn't really tenable if you view the Kaiser's actions in complete isolation. WW1 less the triumph of good over evil and was more the last great dick measuring contest of monarchies and Germanies bratwurst coming up short made it become an incel.

How do you define the 'far right'?

I view the Far Right as nationalism that invokes bigotry against groups, and racism against ethnicities. I oppose it because I believe in a multi-cultural and a multi-ethnic society. I believe that through the process of social inclusion we should all of us have the right to participate in society.

Excluding a group or an ethnicity or, worse, taking steps to seperate and eventually exterminate said groups or ethnicities is to me a crime against our collective humanity. Those who seek such ends to my way of thinking disavow themselves of the collective and therefore expose themselves as an enemy belief system.

Once again you come back to that. That the people at the protests are there in solidarity with nazis. No one knows who these guys are and they are there to protest against an authoritarian govt. What if a nazi turns up to a climate change rally, should everyone who attends be labelled a nazi sympathizer?
The issue (with respect to the anti-vaccine/ mandate crew) is that the Nazis are not there to protest against authoritarian government.

They're ******* Nazis. They LOVE authoritarian governments. That's literally their thing. Hitler also loved vaccines (for Arayans, non Arayans would be intentionally deprived them).

The Nazis are at those 'freedom' rallies (and spamming internet forums, like Instagram, twitter, chat rooms, Facebook, 4Chan and this site) to try and push a narrative of 'The vaccines/ mandates are an attempt by the 'evil cabal of bankers and Media elites' to impose socialism on us, and push a leftist agenda/ implement cultural Marxism via the Great Reset.'

I've seen you (and plenty of others) in the Conspiracy board literally parroting this exact line, almost certainly because you've been red-pilled by Neo Nazis, without realizing it. Most of you dont realize the anti-Semitic nature of the above conspiracy (the Nazis who spruike it online are very careful to refer to the people behind this global plot as 'globalists, bankers, financiers, Soros, Rothschilds, Zukerberg' etc, and not 'the Jews').

In your case, I actually think you're totally unaware of what it is you're saying when you sit there and accuse the 'bankers and financiers of the WEF of being in a shadow cabal to 'impose socialism on us'. I dont think you are an anti-Semite, but you sure as s**t are repeatedly unknowingly regurgitating an anti-Semitic conspiracy over and over (a conspiracy that was the core belief of the Nazis, and their justification for the Holocaust, and why they hated capitalism and socialism so much - they saw both as inventions of the 'wealthy bankers' trying to water down the European race with 'cultural marxism').

What I've been trying to do, is open your eyes to it, so you can see what it is you're doing (and understand why the Nazis are at those rallies, and why they're lurking around internet forums like this one).

They're trying to red-pill you into becoming a Nazi. Or at the very least, a MAGA hat wearer, who hates socialism, and thinks a 'cabal of wealthy people are secretly trying to impose socialism on us'.

Again, look at Pete Evans. They targeted him online, and he went from weirdo/ health Guru to MAGA flog to 'the bankers are behind it' to praising the Nazis and nearly going all the way to openly hailing Hitler, before he finally got cancelled.

He's far from alone. I could name at least 10 posters on the Conspiracy board who are on the exact same path.

Spot on.

The spruikers and defenders of the 'white replacement/great replacement' theory are also in this same basket.

If the British didn't go back on the McMahon-Hussein agreements with Sykes-Picot, the Middle East would look radically different. Wahhabism might not've ever become the dominant form of Islam in the world, and that makes for a dramatically different 100 years.

So let's say we agree you can punch a Nazi. Who decides what a Nazi is? Is a person who just supports Trump a Nazi?
Always.

But in the end it's assault and the police should deal with it.

I'm not going in to bat for the Nazi on this, ever.
