Yeah lol...and he's looking like a ruck prospect. Must be around 200cm already. But early days...the entire top 40 will look a lot different this time next year.CARN THE RAVEN!
I'm not sure but I doubt it. But he stands out for his skills. Caught my eye instantly. Not sure how his first name would be pronounced. He's exciting. Is Deian Robertson related to Deven?
Sorry, I just realised PT stood for Peel Thunder. Not Perth.I'm not sure but I doubt it. But he stands out for his skills. Caught my eye instantly. Not sure how his first name would be pronounced. He's exciting.
No he isn’t. Very good footballer thoughIs Deian Robertson related to Deven?
Like this. Will be interesting to see how they go in 16’s carnival. Was surprised with some of the inclusions and exclusions in the 16’s squad. Agree this list will look very different in 12 months. Watched round 1 of futures game Claremont v East Freo. Off that game very surprised Bailey Morgan didn’t make state 16’s from EF and Hamish Davis from Claremont. Both dominated and looked like the real deal. Morgan kicked 6 from memory and apparently was Davis’s first game in 2 years off the back of a long term back injury. You couldn’t tell. Super athletic, good size, reads the ball well.Yeah lol...and he's looking like a ruck prospect. Must be around 200cm already. Yeah cheers mate. A few people have mentioned that they think there were some unlucky players to miss out on the state squad.Like this. Will be interesting to see how they go in 16’s carnival. Don’t mind me, I have man flu atm.And it's Roberts and not Robertson.
Hopefully we do OK and are competitive enough. What are your thoughts on how WA selectors seem to miss a lot of potentially great players for 16’s selection v who ends up getting drafted in their 18’s year? Is it purely a lack of being able to watch these players enough at a younger age and do they pick players who they think will be “competitive” at a 16’s carnival versus players who potentially could go on to get drafted? The futures carnival is very short with many boys unable to play every game due to summer sport or psa commitments. With the squad being picked primarily from this carnival it seems they just don’t get to see enough of them play.Just watched the Vic Metro v Vic Country 16's game.
I had to double check that it wasn't an 18's game.
I think they are physically stronger and probably more talented across the ground but WA does have some x-factor type players that the Vics didn't seem to have.
I hope WA select those mercurial players in the championships. That's the strength of WA football. Indigenous fellas, x-factor players, points of difference.
One way or another it's going to be tough for WA I feel.
Not sure if this is the right age bracket but do you have any info on Boston Everett. Spidas son, apparently goes ok
ThanksBoston's for 2025.

Crows Father/Son Tyler Welsh goes alright...Metro will have their work cut out for them with this SA team, they are putting WA too the sword.
Yep and has missed some shots aswell he could have had atleast 4 goals till half timeCrows Father/Son Tyler Welsh goes alright...
Yep. You were spot on. Quite a few not looking anywhere near it unfortunately. Tyler Welsh looks very very goodMy fears for this WA squad have been realised.
Could imagine that only 10 or 12 of these guys will be in the mix for 18's selection by the time other 2006's are introduced into the colts system over the next two and a half years.
South Australia are very slick....great skills.
