Charlie "The Goose" Cameron is a severely overrated player. Gets a lot of his goals over the top running into an open goal like Josh Jenkins did. Field kicking is abysmal most of the time, only has one string to his bow.

A great moment but he's a bit of a battler and nowhere near as good as his old man. Works his ring off though so hopefully that spreads through the side but wouldn't be surprised to see him playing in the ammos in a few years time.

Real icing type player. Would be getting 5 touches a game if he played for North.

He's definitely been better at the Lions than he was at the Cows, but their game plan has him deeper forward where as Adelaide had him further up the ground and Jenkins playing the deep role.

Yeah, can't really play two goalhangers in the same team

This has got to be the most open season I can remember.

atm there's like 6 or 7 teams with a realistic (if outside) chance of winning the flag.
On par with 2016 for evenness. The Bulldogs were 7th but the gap between them and first was only 2 games.
If it stays this way we could easily see another winner from outside the top 4.

I was a bit young for G Archer but I thought that was him to a tee? An absolute warrior but not the most talented footballer?

Arch senior was bigger and stronger. He also read the game beautifully.

Give it another week, Jackson Archer should be as good as his old man by his second AFL game. :p

That's exactly it. He hasn't done anywhere near enough to get into a senior AFL side. So it is either a PR move or our defence is that ****ed at the moment that they said why not? Although that was the case when we played Carlton IIRC with skinny young Miller Bergman lasting about 10 minutes before doing his shoulder and being out for the year.

Great turn around after a dire first quarter. It's nice to see Rhylee West grabbing his chance and not looking out of place too.

Vintage Bombers footy that.

Your last fortnight has summed up Essendon since 2004 in a nutshell, beat a top 4 contending team in the Saints, than lose a game to an covid interrupted, aging and injury widdled Eagles team that hadn't won a game in 9 weeks, and looked like wooden spoons favorites for most of that time (although granted, they played pretty well last week against Geelong) and it's why I don't really blame Rutten so much, the whole team seems to have performed as flakey like this ever since Sheedy left.

Whole club needs an entire cultural change/reset.

That wasn’t a bad Eagles team tonight back to near full strength. Their starting odds for this game was ridiculous

Cannot see Carlton beating a top 4 bound Dockers outfit today, hopefully we play much better than the crap dished up against Richmond last week which was insipid (which for some reason Tigers were chuffed about)

Speaking of Tiger fans, they have been really unbearable cocky b£stards on this forum again, please do us all a favour Catters and knock those flogs off their perch.
