The AFL's MRP is farcical - they make up penalties and apply them at will. There is no system - the grading chart used is manipulated to deliver whatever outcome the AFL want to achieve.

They've brought up the Milburn on Silvagni hit on the main board. It's really not that different outside the fact that Milburn was more cowardly taking out Silvagni in a marking contest but both leave the ground, take the head and leave their very good opponent completely knocked out and most likely with some permanent damage (might explain why Silvagni spent a first round pick on Kristian Jaksch in 2012).
