If ever you doubt the brutality of AFL - have a look at the McGovern injury.

When someone criticises an AFL player’s toughness or bravery, I find it not only completely unwarranted, but just dead wrong.
Anyone who questions the toughness of AFL players have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.

Most footy in general is tough and requires the conviction of each player to 'go when it is your turn'.

There is no more insulting a term than "footsteps" You don't hear it as much nowadays and this is a good thing. (I often used it as a player and once had it used against me - dire day as I went white line fever - yukk)

Interesting discussion of Port Adelaide going ruckless v Richmond and Swans
Advantage - mobility at clearances

Strange when they didn't go ruckless against us - they brought in Teakle - and when he was injured they used Finlayson in the ruck.

They did have a ruckman though?
Ladhams scored 2 goals and took our ruckman out of the game.

Proof that North is a complete rabble. Tarryn Thomas posted this response to a fan 10 minutes after the match ended.

No wonder that club has no future.

Tom Stewart straight to tribunal.

No action for Fyfe's touch on ump.

Zac Jones;
(from AFL.com)
Parker is running forward, gathers and handballs the football as he is tackled from behind by St Kilda's Seb Ross, and collides with Jones, who is in a near stationary position and turns to brace for contact. It was the view of the MRO that Jones' actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken.

I'm kinda on Thomas' side on this one. If you wanna be a lippy, disrespectful smart-arse to someone just doing their job - even if poorly - then you have every right to cop a lippy, disrespectful response.

That said, idiot for doing so and should've just blocked the person who commented.

He could've waited more than 10 minutes after the final siren sounded to look at his Socials let alone make the comment.
