Surely Christian Eriksen who had a heart attack at the Euro’s in front of millions of people and at major risk of retiring, only to remarkably come back with Brentford a few months later on a 6-month contract, isn’t getting criticised for signing with a new club as a free agent signing? 😂

Option to buy is the most exciting element. Cartwright has a new 5 year deal with us and is playing for the England U20s, has a huge future ahead of him. Ingram signed a new 4 year deal as well so our keeping stocks are great all of a sudden. Suspect we'll sell Ingram in a year or two when Cartwright is ready to step up and challenge for the number 1 shirt, but I have no doubt he and Baxter will both be PL keepers either with us or someone else in the next 2-3 years.

Roman bought lots of players that managers didn't want, seems like boelhy is just doing the same

Roman didn't really give a shite about losing money though. I doubt Boehly has the same mindset. I can't see him making signings just because he's a Ronaldo fanboy from 15 years ago and spunking 10-15m of transfer funds + 500k weekly wages on a player who is 38 in January. It makes no sense at all for Chelsea.
