I really did. You said they didn’t come on, which is a criticism, whether you agree or not. I am disagreeing, because you don’t seem to understand what is a criticism and what isn’t.

I literally posted a lengthy post a page or two ago about poor development and poor kids not up to it. So maybe stop trying to guess the motives of someone on the internet.

Yeah you’ve missed the mark here as you can’t seem to see the difference between criticising players and a simple statement of what’s happened.

It’s not good bad or indifferent that the players mentioned haven’t had much of an impact this season. It simply is.

If you want to take something that was merely pointed out to show what’s not on Noble as an attack on players then fine. But as I said, it’s filed under triggered supporter.

I think its more if they didn’t like him in the first place, they won’t respect the sprays he gives.

Plenty of coaches give sprays, Voss gave a huge publicised one a couple of weeks ago and the players responded, why? Because the players respect him as a coach. Clearly north don’t have that with Noble, which is more his problem than theirs.

Also, we don’t know what was said either. If a spray is being used to bully or belittle players, rather than motivate or encourage, then thats an issue.

I always laugh when people automatically assume players are soft ***** for not responding well to a spray. Same people would be running to HR if their boss so much raised their voice at them.

No, you’ve got absolutely no idea. Melbourne were rock bottom after Neeld. You can think it’s all dog shit all you want, it isn’t. He coached for three years and in that time our ladder progression was constant. I am not digging it up because I’ve had this argument with people like you before.

We missed on percentage in 17 under Goodwin, won two finals in 18, poor for two years before winning the flag last year. If you think Roos not instigating directional change made a difference, you wouldn’t know your arse from your elbow.

Oh come on, Noble knew what he was stepping into, good on him for having a crack but footy is a results based industry.

No one had told him the expectation was top 4 in 2-3 years until old mate said it on SEN on day 1 of his tenure. That would suggest he didn’t quite know what he was stepping into.

Roos is a charlatan. He is comfortably the most overrated and overpaid person in footy. Hiring him has been a disaster for us.

It's not a bad shout.

He won 1 flag very narrowly with the Swans, took over Melbourne when they literally couldn't get any worse (for a handy salary paid by the AFL mind you). All he had to do was not be Mark Neeld and they were going to improve. He did just that, and for some reason he's credited for doing the heavy lifting for their flag.

He also keeps saying he's done with footy but taking non-committal roles that no doubt pay a fortune. Eg a 3-year Melbourne role, a North role from Hawaii.

Hopefully he can stop taking the piss out of vulnerable clubs now.
