I'm looking forward to seeing how this one plays out, especially with Bassett in charge.

Bassett has a ruthless streak, he is a winner as a senior coach, and I can't recall ever hearing him talk about how tough the opposition is, he just focuses on his team winning.

We've been burnt so many times this year by losing games we were in an position to win - Brisbane, crows, Carlton, Geelong, Richmond, Freo - if we get to that place today will we go on with it with a coach who expects to win?

And can we jump out and play tough contested finals type footy? At least we aren't playing Sam Mayes

Rozee, Butters and Wines can give us a spark in midfield even with our ruck disadvantage, we don't have to split Drew between Oliver and Petracca, and if we can get our intercept defence marking rebound going, this time we will have sufficient forward line targets to aim for.

Been interesting times in the Alice, as of Thursday, Alice Springs has recorded sub-zero temperatures for 12 consecutive mornings, breaking the record set more than four decades ago.
