NRL NRL 2022 Season - Round 19

Parra don't look like they'll be featuring at the very pointy end of the season.

I read a stat that Arthur had only used 2 players off the bench until the 78th minute? Surely that's not right.

They will be lucky to make finals have you seen their draw?

Yeah it's good, isn't it, but they do look less than the sum of their parts. Moses and Gutho are terrific players, they have a good pack, but...

Parramatta look like the same kind of playoff team as last year but a little worse. They'll win a game or two tops but ultimately get bounced before the semis if they manage to squeeze in.

Panthers, Cowboys, Sharks, Broncos, Storm (in order) are the only genuine possibles to make the GF. And you could whittle that down to Panthers, Sharks, Cowboys. And maybe even just Panthers, Sharks.

Souths imo are the biggest wildcard, Latrell in this form reminds me of how Hayne was in that run to the GF they had. Do I trust them no, but if there’s a roughie they are the ones.

Good call on the Rabbitohs as a dark horse. Tho, they're too inconsistent, like the Eels. If they put it all together they'll likewise win a playoff or two but ultimately get bounced if they squeezed in. Imo, anyway.

Eels and Rabbitohs MIGHT beat the Broncos or Storm, but would lose to Panthers, Cowboys, Sharks.

Weirdly I trust them more than the Cowboys, still feel they are a year too soon, very young in key positions. Will be interesting to see how big a loss the Sharks winger is too, brilliant finisher, he's out with a pec for the season. Look lets be real Penrith have to fall over to lose, it's just who gets to get walloped by them in the GF

They're still just as likely to miss as they are to make the finals.

Even if they do, they have to essentially be perfect from now to make the GF. Huge ask.

Latrell in this form is scary, behind Penrith they would be the wildcard to go on a run. Have them coming 4th actually.

Sure...but let's not forget they've beaten a poor Eels side, a terrible Newcastle side (that they conceded 28 points to) and a Dogs side (that they also conceded 28 points to).

They've really played no one of note as yet. This week will be a good litmus test.

100% I agree there, think they win fairly comfortably this week, storm unfortunately have way too many injuries it's a shame for the competition actually,

That was obvious six weeks ago.

I like the idea of selling Arthur to the Dogs, should keep them at or near the cellar for another decade. As for your question, I wouldn't be surprised there have been a couple of game where he used only three players off the bench or only 7 or 8 of his allotted changes.

Actually think the call is correct, by the letter of the rules it’s an escort.

However how is it able to be challenged? It wasn’t a break in place. Thought they cracked down on teams challenging when it’s not a stoppage!
