Is this a satirical thing that BR have mistakenly taken seriously? I haven't seen the quote anywhere else and it's so dumb I have trouble believing it

Nah it's straight up from one of the satire pages.

Why are Indy so keen on Westbrooke ? Doesn't make sense to me

They aren't.

They want two unprotected firsts from the Lakers.

Long may the Lakers refuse to play ball, because Turner and Hield could actually help them, a lot.

Also came out and said he and Ant will be the next Shaq and Kobe...
1) The image is a fake quote
2) No he didn't, he said they will have to play at that level "if possible" to "be considered the consensus best duo in the NBA" (which was a reporter question) :

Are so many s**t and inaccurate takes the price of being relevant? :$

Day 85: Still I wait for Sexton resolution

Prousty told me he'd be getting a max from Cleveland in the first hour of free agency. Shocked that turned out to be wrong.

Think I read latest offer was 3/40, and he's thinking starter money, which is probably closer to $20 mil per. Given you're $15 mil below tax line and reportedly don't want to pay that yet, seems unlikely he'll get his wish.

Probably waiting for Durant situation to play out in the hope more suitors come along. Don't think he has many, if any, at the moment.

So Boston has put Brown, White and a future on the table for KD. Nets want Smart, another role player plus more picks in addition.

How far Boston are willing to get bent over to get him is the question.

Brown is a nice get but they can shove white up the ass.

It'll have to be a Williams.

Nets should stay strong. They have the high ground with kd contracted forever plus he loves to play / want to make up for the missed knee injury time

As a celts diehard I can understand the desire to bring KD in, but cannot accept giving anything more than the offer on the table and would prefer to keep JB if Nets want anything more.

Nets apparently want JB Smart and 2 first.
GTFO.

If I am Brooklyn I am saying the starting point is Brown and Williams, please add to that base with picks and role players

I can get not wanting to break up a team that just went to the finals but White doesn't offer much value so it is essentially KD for Brown and a late pick.

Not enough

Collin Sexton and his agency, Klutch Sports, "have shown so far that they wonā€™t settle in negotiations. Discussions could go into training camp, and potentially into the season when the landscape of the leagueā€™s rosters shift," per Shams Charania.

Lol letting it drag into the season would be so dumb, not like the cavs didnt just have a good season without him and added another SG in the lottery. Miss training camp, miss early season and take QO... what motivation would the team have in making him earn his minutes in a big way
