Is this a satirical thing that BR have mistakenly taken seriously? I haven't seen the quote anywhere else and it's so dumb I have trouble believing it

1) The image is a fake quote
2) No he didn't, he said they will have to play at that level "if possible" to "be considered the consensus best duo in the NBA" (which was a reporter question) :
Are so many s**t and inaccurate takes the price of being relevant?
Day 85: Still I wait for Sexton resolution
Remains to be seen. It was more a question of whether the dumb stuff in media is an indication that we areThe Wolves are relevant?
Going for back to back playoff appearances. The Wolves are relevant?
So Boston has put Brown, White and a future on the table for KD. Nets want Smart, another role player plus more picks in addition.
How far Boston are willing to get bent over to get him is the question.
Windhorst on @AZSports says the Celtics' trade offer to Brooklyn for Kevin Durant is likely weeks old:
"I don't think the Nets are involved in active talks right now. ... I know it came out today so it's front of mind, but those are not fresh talks."

He's not getting traded
If I am Brooklyn I am saying the starting point is Brown and Williams, please add to that base with picks and role playersSo Boston has put Brown, White and a future on the table for KD. Nets want Smart, another role player plus more picks in addition.

I can get not wanting to break up a team that just went to the finals but White doesn't offer much value so it is essentially KD for Brown and a late pick.As a celts diehard I can understand the desire to bring KD in, but cannot accept giving anything more than the offer on the table and would prefer to keep JB if Nets want anything more.
Nets apparently want JB Smart and 2 first.
GTFO.
Grant? Surely not considering timelord? If I am Brooklyn I am saying the starting point is Brown and Williams, please add to that base with picks and role players
