No they have created a rod for Gini's back - look at that still very closely - his face is almost beet red - that is a HARD choke hold and qualifies for a charge of aggravated assault with the intent to cause bodily harm.

The AFL . . AND the players association - are fkin lucky I'm not Gini because they would be facing a workcare investigation and a number of civil law suits.

That is the only thing that will stop this unwarranted lynch mob attack.
How long ago did you stop working Cloudy? WorkCare?

As for the rest of your delusions about crimes and a civil law suits, well it might be

This maybe the fastest redevelopments of a team we've seen in the history of the comp.

Seems we've got the 'between the ears and on the same page' right, and well before predicted.

I'm not sure how far we can go, but this is exactly the sort of redevelopment I was hoping for - not personnel reliant. Because we can't rely like other clubs for personnel.

I cannot be disappointed with this year, no matter what happens, sure if we lose another GF this year that will disappointing but I'll just remind myself that this is a development and we've (already now) far exceeded expectations.

Thanks to the new FD and administration for digging us out the hole the previous FD and admin left us in.

As for that previous, you'll never ever ever be forgiven from me.
Dare I mention 1977. Spooners in 76 and 2 x GFs in 77.

Whoo-up there tiger.

Apart from the ridiculous assault charge you have dreamt up, AFL players are not covered by WorkCover (it hasn't been called Workcare since the mid 90s).
Didn't you know that Cloudshouter is actually the inspiration for Better Call Saul? Nothing is impossible for a legal mind such as his.

Watching footy has given me the knowledge of an orthopaedic surgeon so I don't see why it can't have made Cloudy a legal eagle.

You know, having lived through the horrors of 1976 (our 1st wooden spoon year) this season is reminding me more and more of the renaissance of 1977 (when we came from last to Grand Finalists in one season under a new coach with a fresh approach).

the belief in the playing group is becoming absolutely palpable.

EDIT - I had the same line of thought before I saw the posts of caloschwaby and Carringbush2010 above.
in 1976, heading for our first spoon, I was called into my bosses office and was advised that I was being sent to Perth for 6 months at the end of August. Boy was I glad to be out of Melbourne that year. Still in WA by the way. Went back to Melbourne early 80's for a couple of years but returned to WA in 86. Not sure what was worse, a Collingwood spoon in 76 or arriving back in WA in 86 to 2 million Eagles supporters!!!!!

I think we are all lucky that you're not Ginni.

I did say maybe.

Did think about that Hafey team, just old enough to remember the euphoria then absolute heart break. The next 4 years the same, super highs then super lows - excruciating.

Imagine the reaction if Jordy went for goal instead of passing off to him?
He'd probably try to sue him for a civil debt claiming that not passing the ball goes against the Magna Carta.

Hope so
Moore is expected to cover every tall at the moment.
Maybe DC could go back when Grundy comes back.
Cox FF switching with Grundy in ruck?
Totally agree. We would be better with a good full back and Darcy playing more a CHB role. Does Leppitsch see this and sees McStay as filling that role. Has to be some good reason why we want him so much. We haven’t got much on the list to be confident of to fill this.

Bet you had pangs of regret in season 1977 though - right up until the GF Replay at least!

Good on Cox and Adams, its about time we start telling the AFL to * off

Should've started after Degs called out the media, but nah the ceo made a public statement in contradiction to what Degs obviously felt.

Seems it's up to the players now to back themselves up, our admin and board won't.

Pendles was on MMM this morning and he said that he knew there was only about 30 seconds left in the game, he said that everyone always tries to bomb it down the centre and "hope for the best" so all the players congregate there.

He grabbed the ball for the kick in and told Darcy to just take off and he'd kick to him on the move, which of course did and thereby opened up the whole wing.

Our captain is something of a genius (as we already knew).
