GWS proving it doesn't matter how many top 10 and top 20 picks you have when the coaching sucks and the players do not play as a team.
but but but... Top 10 pic sare the only way to the top.

And you can tell this is the way bc GWS are in the top 4 and us, with no real high end picks since 1985 are 12th again....

Collingwood remind me alot of Geelong in 2013 and Hawthorn 2016

Keep playing Russian Roulette like this and eventually you get shot.

dees, swans away and carlton. tough last 3
Yes - but they have won 10 in a row mate

There last 3 games - i think they will beat Carlton - when Geel played those 2 teams - the Magpies were far more impressive than the Blues

The game against Sydney - that will be the clincher as to whether they finish top 4 - Coll have got a sensational record against Syd in NSW - they just have . The Swans have been good this year - but they have also put in a few shockers - scrambled over the line against Nth Melb at the SCG

The Melb game is a big ask - they did beat them earlier this year though - but if Melb play like they did last night - i dont think anyone will be beating them

10 in a row is 10 in a row but they've hardly been convincing and beaten the bottom 6 etc

Collingwood might win one of their last 3 but will lose the important one to Sydney to decide top 4.

If Brisbane drop tomorrow's game, they are shaping up as Geelong's most likely opponent in week 1 of finals. I'm thinking they scrape over the line though.

Actually looking at % (with Kangas still to come in for Swand) it appears that Brisbane probably only have to drop one of the Richmond, Melbourne or Carlton games to drop into 4th. Sydney looking good for 3rd if they win out from here, which they should.

The other thing is when sides get thrashed in a Grand Final they explode like a time bomb, and the club did after Richmond thrashed them

Pies are pretty good but are a chance to lose their last 3. Swans have picked up in the last few weeks- it’ll be an interesting game up there-worth watching I imagine. If the dees bring last night’s form they will account for the pies. Carlton game a toss up. Pies must be starting to think they are invincible, and that matters.

Just on the topic of Collingwood winning the close games this year - this shows how that can change from one season to the next

When the pressure goes up in finals, will Collingwood be able to lift also or will they put in a performance like Port did in last years prelim?
