What’s he supposed to do when our midfield turns to s**t like it always does they look good on paper but the second the heats turned up they go missing
When Geelong's midfield was s**t Scott put two sweepers back and had every player inside our forward 50. That's how you stop a run-on. We did sweet fa as usual when Geelong got a run-on.

They were too mature. We did okay. Daniel should not have been picked - that was an absolute shocker decision. We're clearly heading in the right direction, but our shortcoming is youth.

We play pretty well considering our inexperience.

We’ll still be saying that in 2050.

Geelong will have finished top four for the 35th consecutive season, and jagged a few flags. Professionally run clubs like hawks and swans will have rebuilt 2-3 times and grabbed a couple more flags each.

Bulldogs will still be finishing 5th—13th, winning the odd final and threatening to win a flag “if they can scrape in and get a run on!”

Bont will be considered one of the best the game has seen, but not up there with those who’ve won multiple flags. Criminal.

As it happens so regularly a decent coach would have a back up plan or a plan B to lock the game down As a recently retired player said to a contact, he does not have a game plan, thinks he is the smartest person in room and relies totally on midfield dominance.

If I was Bevo I'd play Garcia full time in the middle for this last quarter. Just hit some bodies and bring some defensive pressure for a change.

Can’t expect Bruce naughton and Jamarra to be affective when we push every player into our forward line , can’t expect our backline to be affective when they push all the way up and get it kicked straight over there head and they have to chase from 25 meters behind . The system and game plan is a joke

We have players set up for that and they get sucked in everytime Guthries goal Libba was set up there and got sucked in and let his man past

Exactly. This has become an embarrassing habit.

Bont still has around 7 years in him. I'd wager he'll jag at least two more flags before he is done.
