Interesting comments from someone associated at the Gun. They'd know all about whistle blowing after questioning and complaining to the umps after a certain game a couple of weeks ago. No report laid during the game, complained and jumped up and down after the game to the umps. Trial by video !!!
Not sure what you are referring to. I can assure you I know nobody on this page so not associated with anyone.

I suppose the question has to be can Uni stay up?

1 win away from safety and a few rounds remaining after 3 game winning streak. Given the year they have had and not knowing where their home games would be week to week, it would be a great effort.
They need to win two more games and rely on Marcellin not winning again due to the percentage difference from what I see. Would be interesting to see if they hadn’t lost to Preston by that one point in the first round. They have really tough games ahead of them for the rest of the season.

But it’s a good question.

What's wrong with their ground , never been there
Club rooms are being renovated by Melbourne City Council. Adding more change rooms to accommodate ladies and extra for umpires. There is also a union and soccer ground that use the change rooms.

Great win Monds kids , but some of the worst umpiring ever seen
Parkdale to good for us yesterday. Their fitness and talent got them through. That and some one sided umpiring in the second half. Shortest 50m penalty you will ever see (awarded in the middle of the ground and still had 60m to goals), incorrect disposals when the ball was clearly knocked out of the hands. They were getting away with high tackles, in the back. It was like the umpires didn’t want us to win, but one in particular.

Went down to watch Preston play Hampton yesterday, really windy but Preston looked good for a lot of the day, Hampton just too good in the end. Preston have some good players like number 7 and 23 down back, number 30 kicked some ripping goals in the first quarter including one from the boundary. Was a bit disappointed by number 35 who had a good first quarter but dropped his head after that.

You can't be serious. If Parkdale had have kicked straight they would have by more than 10 goals. Very sour grapes from you.

Concur with bedders , the umpires made many mistakes and missed a high hit in the last few minutes on the 15yo , should have been a 50 , they only went one way .

Guys can we all save our energy on this and jointly agree that C Grade umpires (and in fact all umpires) are going to make mistakes. If we accept this we can stop the weekly boring commentary.

I’m also guessing that a decent percentage of what us spectators would call mistakes are in fact good calls. We are rarely in better position to judge and also don’t always know the rules. And some of us might be a touch biased...possibly...

Have not had an issue apart from 1 ump earlier in the season , but these guys were off . Happy to praise and have this year.
Makes it easier to comment when a B grade team is dominating C !

Overuse of the word Dominating ??????? Finals will be very gettable and very even for whoever makes it. There's always a top of the ladder team, pressure on them to win it is another issue.
