hey jeffrey, i've read your previous thread and have established that you have a great welth of knowledge on supercoach, so i was wondering the following things...

i have the option of buying a heath shaw card or a chad cornes card off ebay. my backlines a bit weak so i have resorted to buying the cards off ebay and then picking them up on the computer...you know cos you need to have their herald sun card before you can trade for them. and seeing as you are here to help i'm wondering which one i should get???

also i'm thinking about picking up nick dal santo on saturday morning after he has gone down more...cos you can do that and all. do you think thats a good idea??

My rucks are as follows: Ryder, Sandilands, Hudson and Griffen.

I'm unsure whether I should get rid of Hudson this week to save some money, or whether it would be better to get rid of Sandilands to save even more money and put Hudson or Griffen on the ground each week.

What do people think about this? Which would be better? Sandilands hasnt exactly been carving it up with his scores, and I would have an extra $80000 if I got rid of him.

I would definetly keep Sandilands as he is the only one 80% likely to score consisitently at the level he has done so far for the rest of the season. I would consider upgrading two of the others for one other solid ruckman. That way you have two solid ruckmen, plus one of Hudson, Ryder and Griffin as a reserve, and a few extra bucks in the bank too, hopefully.

Or just trade off one of Griffin, Ryder, Hudson depending on which one you think is the worst/has peaked/provides the money you need.

With 9 trades left and $219,400 in the bank. sitting at about 4000 and leading league. I know that my forwards are my weak point but with only 9 trades left i don't know what to do. any advice would be awesome. Don't want to touch my mids or backs all year bar injuries and doing lappin for bartel when the time is right.

I think you would get a better return if you traded R.Murphy for someone like Gary Ablett than Lappin for Bartel. Although you might be better going with someone who's body holds up a bit better than Abletts.
 
Sorry about another 'what would you do?' post, but I want to upgrade Hudson this week.

Who would you go for out of Fraser, Lade, Jolly and Jeff White?

In my opinion I think trading in a JUDD or BARTEL at their current price is a waste of cash.

Yeah they are likely to average 130, but when you can get a player averaging 120 for 100k cheaper i believe that spare 100k would be handy to upgrade elsewhere.

Just my opinion.

It's more about consistency though. Bartel is fantastic in pretty much everything he does, he is the ultimate SC player. He should consistently get high scores, and this also gives me an option to be sure that my (new) captain will do well.
