I have never ever watched a lot of Port Adelaide. I’m not dismissing the claims of players like Tredrea or Wanganeen, and I was probably too young when Wanganeen was at essendon to understand what made him so good so for all I know they could make it - it wasn’t a question of deliberately overlooking them or anything.

They are in my mind the two best ruckmen I have seen, I see Martin as one of the best midfielders but not the clear best.

I’d put him in my top 10 over Ricciuto if he won a flag. He’s currently 11-12th for me. Tossing up between those two and R Harvey was hard so the flag took priority.

How can you have Martin so low? No one in the games history has dominated big game and finals the way he has. Also his 2017 season is the best season by any individual.
