If we miss the 8 next year watch the media criticise port for not sacking him this year, all these Hinkley lovers will be quick to turn. Can already hear Ross Lyon contradict himself.

With all due respect to the lady's version of the game it's sticking out like a sore thumb the kokmeister is once again no more than piss and wind, and after some minor deck shuffling sfa will happen with the kern situation, and the happy clappers will be sucked into the club's entry into the ALFW as if it's the biggest thing since the invention of the wheel.
The clappers will be like Marilyn Chambers after she met Johnny Door Opener at the bus stop, but they still won't get the icecream.

The hysterical reaction to a few media pundits views on Ken is a bit over the top. They arent on our board and dont make the decision on whether to hire or fire him.They are his mates who are trying to keep him employed, nothing more.

I think they can only ‘add’ - can’t do wholesale changes if Ken is moved on end of next year. Who would want to come here knowing they could be gone soon after?
All assistants have contacts for next year too, wonder who they might axe.

Any changes they make will be for the next coach. Because we don’t have cash I can see the AFL not letting us sack Ken.
So I think we’ll name a successor this preseason and hope that he ducks off or we’ll go all in on Buckley for 24. He’s said he wasn’t coaching this year so he could focus on his kids.
I would hope anyone who extended kens contact last time is shown the door.

I don't want us to become a club that keeps sacking coaches. I just want us to become a club that sacks this one.
We can hope all we like, he's not going anywhere and will probably be well beyond next year, oh well we tried but the club doesn't care what we think as long as we pay up and attend.

I just want to fill my car boot with cheap donuts and stand out the front of the club pelting them from the carpark until I'm dragged away.... sad but true.The whole situation is *ed!!!
Earlier this year when Ken was under pressure with his 0-5 start we had Caro on Footy Classified banging on about how Ken SAVED the club!!! Ken was thanked for that and for turning Port around in 2013/2014. In 2015/2016 he underperformed, but he was given some grace for his earlier work. In 2017 it really started to get interesting. As soon as we got belted by the Crows late in the season everyone knew we were just making up the numbers. It was at that stage where Koch and the board should've really been considering his future. At this stage he was contracted until the end of 2018.
What does the club decide to do at the end of 2017?
Give Ken a THREE year contract extension until the end of 2021...

2018 rolls around and we go from 11-4 to missing Finals but Ken is contracted until the end of 2021...this is when the club starts copping some flak and Koch comes out and declares that nobody was complaining earlier in the year!!! There's also the inconvenient fact that it would've cost too much to pay him out because you've prematurely resigned him for 3 seasons
In 2019 it's seen as a rebuilding year and Finals are missed once again. Covid and a soft draw in 2020 suddenly gave us an unexpected Premiership window, but it's not capitalised on. End of 2020 and Ken still has one year to go on his contract at this stage (contracted to the end of 2021). What does the club do!? Give him another TWO year contract extension to keep Ken here until the end of 2023!!!

David Parkin coaches Carlton from 1991 to 2000. Carlton made Grand Finals in 1993, 1999 and finished 2nd on the ladder in 2000 before being eliminated in the Preliminary Final. Parking retires. Ken makes no Grand Finals from 2013 to 2022 and Port is sitting on 12th and he says he's comfortable and wants to coach next season. Get this pelican out of our club!
I never though it possible but I might take Luke warm interest in Fremantle and admire how Sydney go about it and **** Port they can fall off a cliff. I was so excited when we entered the AFL but now maybe it wasn't the best thing after all.
It doesn't matter any more. Look at Ross Lyon last night we lost x games by less than a goal lol we also just beat the Saints and Gold Coast by a few points. This is a big set up because non of the media are pulling out the actually data facts, like our record against top 8 sides. Apparently we had no ruck all year, Lycett played in most of the first 5 losses and what about Hayes. Surely these people have an agenda, or they simply shouldn't be employed on these Footy shows, do your ****ing homework and report the truth you pack of arse holes.
