I don't think there's much difference in trade capital between Bergman & Amon versus Crouch & say eg Himmelberg

I understand getting both Rankine & JHF requires some wizardry ....which "may" prove too difficult

Yes and no. If we can manouvre to get rankine with a 2023 1st..we get to grab a top end mid like phillipou this year. I'd live with that!!

Well yeah I can. Ben Davis is still on our list, is he going to make it?

The discussion has been done to death on these 3 but I’m calling it that they might have AFL careers, but they will be bog average ones and none worthy of first round picks.

As for Laird, that’s just a stupid comparison, come back to me when any of these 3 make AA or win Club Champion. Laird was suggested by some as he was a senior player with decent trade capital.

a sort of stubborn faaaark you “this is how much chance there is of him playing in Adelaide anytime soon… see, look, we’re not even gonna fukn let him play for us in Adelaide!” stance..

its strange.. a no.1 draftee with his talent in a bottom team just needs to be played.. sure, he’s gonna have down periods but getting more game time and experience into him as quickly as you can is all they should be focusing on right now.

I wanted to write this on the north board but don't want to risk the ban

They are talking Rachele, pick 4 and next years 1st for JHF and stuff like that. No chance they get that but maybe 2 x 1sts could come into play.

I was going to say that if we beat them on the weekend, we could jump up a bit and pick 4 becomes pick 5 or 6 and then 7 after Ashcroft - less appealing

The conundrum for them is they need to win on the weekend and that could flip them above West Coast and they would be no chance of a priority pick then. Choose your poison lads
