Blues without Kennedy, Cerra and Hewett were magnificent. That’s 3 of 5 main mids. Dees clutch late.

For sure stings in the moment and if it does end up costing us finals it might sting again but upon reflection, we got Melbourne off a loss who were playing high pressure, high intensity football all night while we were missing most of our midfield. We shouldn't have even got near them and in the end id argue we deserved to win more then they did but there is no prizes for 2nd place in this game.

End of the day we get another chance next week and if we play like that again we are every chance to cement our spot should it be required (Won't complain when the hawks beat the dogs in tassie though).

Playing fairly ordinarily at the moment. The contested brand will stand up in finals but we aren’t doing enough up forward to go all the way IMO.
