It is embarrassing mate.
The effort Hawthorn are dishing up right now for big boy is nothing short of horrific.

Big Boys 250th was against the Suns. And we won?

At least the supporters haven't walked out ala Enright. That was sad.

9.2 third term for Richmond. It's been coming for a while.

33 scoring shots against North for a dismal 11:22, we've had the costly yips at crucial stages this season.

Thanks for saving it against us you campaigners

Handy burst of form and confidence going towards the end of the season for the Tiges.
Reminds me of 17 when we smacked St Kilda and Freo in the last two games to make top 4.

Pretty similar with unearthing Cumberland , Maurice and Sonsie much like Castagna, Butler and Townsend got so much confidence right before finals in 17.

Even still it’s a massive effort to win from outside top 4 and could be playing Brisbane Fremantle or Sydney interstate in elimination final makes it tough.

Losing a lot of close games will be a killer as you win those ones and your sitting top 3-4.

Very happy with the bounce back from last year but most importantly done it without Dusty and Bolton has taken that leap, Baker and Rioli went to another level and getting Sonsie Rioli , Miller and Cumberland in. Almost like a mini rebuild / refresh.

Got plenty of early draft picks again this year.

He’s retiring ffs. It’s a bit different.

So much for the hawks wanting to honour “champions of the club”

Also getting rid of Clarko for Mitchell 😂😂😂

He's retiring next week. Plenty of time to go out with a bang.

We've won more games under Sam than Clarko. Feels pretty good.

I feel like Maurice has shown enough before today that he was gonna pull out a better class of game like today, it was just a matter of time. Cumberland came outta nowhere lol. Sonsie, still not sure whether he's a good AFL player yet or what. Looked good in VFL.

You looks at the form of some others going into finals; Brisbane looking shaky and prone to going missing for patches, Carlton haven't had a win in a while and look like possibly missing finals if a few things go against them. Geelong, Sydney and Collingwood the 3 ahead of you jokers in recent form and looking like a threatening finals form. Freo doing enough, Melbourne doing enough despite their forward line spluttering. I'd be happy being this Richmond team heading into finals this year.

If you’re looking for a difference, I don’t recall Hawthorn finishing top 4 year upon year and failing habitually year on year during the period you raise.

What?

So what? You realise that finishing top four means, if results go as they should, you play 2 teams at least who also finished top four yeah?

No you’re right you were a finals powerhouse at that stage and any comparison is irrelevant.
