All based off his performance in this one game right?

No based off the 4 years of leadership which he has brought to the club.

He has cultivated many young St Kilda leaders over those 4 years, he's passed on his leadership skills to all our youth and needs another year to finish what he started.

Just dawned on me that after this game we won’t see this team play until again until March 2023. Sigh.

Even though we could’ve so easily have made finals this year, I don’t think we would’ve done much damage on current form.

Just hoping we nail the draft, bring in Lenny Hayes and a top line forward coach, maybe a free agent, and keep developing our young core with intent.

Keep the ship steady, we’re not far off it.

As for Sydney, if they want to finish top 2 they’ll be vying for the win badly so, either it’s going to be a demolition or we might show something to spite them. Either way, we just want to see the kids and a spectacle. Win or lose, integrity and effort is a non-negotiatiable.

H&A season 2022, over and out.

Hanners might get a rookie spot but I think it's time to move on from him.

There is nothing to suggest that he is anything but a resources drain. If we sign him to even a rookie contract we've lost the plot. He's not the future and he's not training us in leadership. We need the younger players to step up.

What gets me with these rookie spots is people think that it is just the wages that the club covers, its so much more:
  • Superannuation
  • Transport
  • Food
  • Apparrel
  • Tickets
  • Doctors Fees
  • Specialist Fees
  • etc etc
The financial drain of having a person on the list who is either not playing or injured can be higher than a fit person playing every game

In Connolly, Bytel and Highmore
Out Crouch, Webster, ?

Let's see what they can bring to the table before they leave or we delist them.

Well they weren't fair dinkum, he takes a younger players spot. Plays 5 quarters for the entire year and then the whole rhetoric out of the club is how they want him to play on.

Montagna and Riewoldt has called the club on this, but not sure if they are listening to anyone outside their bubble.

Sooner Riewoldt takes an active role within the club, the better.
