To be fair he has a goal and assist after two games. Being an idiot and getting sent off doesn’t really have much to do with his style of play.
He would have lost a lot of trust and respect from his teammates and manager tonight though.

Both the goal and assist were pure accidents though. The goal he actually misses the ball initially and gets lucky the defender pokes it into his heel.
The good thing was that he was in the right positions for them both but his touch is Vincent Janssen like

He let his team down. Hopefully just him being young & stupid and learns a lesson from it. Don't respond to provocation.

The first goal wasn't a pure accident. He almost scored a similar goal minutes earlier in the same fashion only to be denied by a great save. The assist wasn't an accident either/. His performance off the bench against Fulham was quite good.
What a terrible argument. Because a player didn’t complain the decision must be wrong? Obviously Mendy can also see right down the line and knows when players are offside? What amazing concentration.
Of all the dumb arguments I’ve read to justify a point the one you’ve come up with here takes the cake (and coffee).

He missed the ball and the defender poked it on to his heel from which he scored. He knew nothing about it.
The assist was a miscontrolled touch that was lucky that Salah was there to run on to it

Lol that's not the case for the assist at all.
To be fair a normal reaction to being pushed (believe that’s what happened) is pushing back. Headbutting is a pretty extreme, disproportionate response.
Ultimately though he’ll be heavily targeted now. So will be a test for him once he’s back.

It was all down to Nunez. In a tussle for the ball he flicked the back of his head into Andersen's face. Andersen remonstrated and give him a bit of a push. Nunez responded by putting his forehead into Anderson's face. Neither contact was particularly strong but both were violent conduct.
You won't get anything besides sympathy from Arsenal fans, I eagerly await Xhakas first red card for a non-red card challenge this year. Or maybe Martinelli will get 2 yellows for the price of one.
This shouldn't be a club v club thing, this should be the clubs pushing for a better standard of officiating and have VAR outsourced to non-England officials because VAR seems to be protecting poor officiating decisions more often than not.
These Chelsea fouls were poor. There have been compilations for Arsenal and other clubs as well.
They really need some rule reform. VAR should be able to issue yellows and reds at minimum. If that hair pull wasn't a red card (it was, but for arguments sake lets say it wasn't) then at the very least it is a yellow and a free kick to Chelsea. If Taylor misses it, because lots happens on corners, then let VAR dish out yellows as well as reds and this doesn't happen.

Hair pulling doesn't fall under the definition of violent conduct i.e. excessive force or brutality.
Therefore VAR's hands are tied.
