I think we just need to target impacts players. Do a Melbourne and seek out a Pickett type who can turn a game with a few special efforts.

I realise that's easier said than done.

Do we need a medium forward though. Have no idea how good George is but next year we will gave Martin, JSOS , Honey and (at a pinch) McGovern on our list who can all play medium forward and you could include Fisher.

Don't really see it as an area of need unless draftee is a complete gane changer in which case he's probably not getting down to our pick.

l am a great believer in taking the best available, but our most important need seems to be more speed & better ball use, so that mid field type who has flexibility to play multiple roles, probably the Bailey Williams type.

I think we’re two depth players short but with Harry, Charlie and Jack only turning 25 this year we’re probably 2-3 years away from needing to rebuild our tall stocks with top end picks.

Martin is regularly injured and has inconsistent output when he does play. His best is phenomenal, but we only see it 3 games a year.

JSOS is a utility, and more a defensive one at that. He's a hard worker, but dynamic he is not. Room for another medium alongside him with complementary skills.

Honey is a rookie pick who has played 11 games in 3 seasons. Has a great athletic profile, but his output is spotty and he's been prone to injuries as well.

McGovern much more suited to the backline interceptor/distributor role.

A first-round grade medium forward who is dangerous in the air and on the deck would be well worth a look. Could take Martin's spot when the guy is injured, or even replace Owies who hold his own more on workrate and smart positioning than pace or skill. Guarantee everyone here would be frothing over the prospect of a fit Cunners coming back into the seniors - given he keeps falling apart it makes perfect sense to draft a replacement.

Reckon we're much more likely to find a high quality specialist forward at our pick (10-12) than we are a KPP. Speed (of movement and of thought), strength (of body and of character) and skills should be top of the priority list. Start drafting kids who can run, kick and tackle, intergrate them into the side wherever they're suited.

Seems next year might be a better crop than this year. Harley Reid looks special. As does Nick Watson.

No, still think there is some good talent through the whole draft, but I wouldn't release our future picks

Has x factor. Kicked bags of 5 & 6 for Murray Bushrangers this year. Twomey rates about pick 14. Perfect.

It seems that there are a lot of AFL ready players in this draft if you take out the KPPs. Plenty of players with great skills and can play on the outside. Would love to see us try and get another pick in the top 20. Really go for it here.
