It will make a mockery of the competition if the clear competition leader is playing its home final in front of 75 thousand screaming pies fans at the ground the pies play 15 games at each season when the pies finished fourth.

we can not have a repeat of the ridiculous 2017 finals series.

surely the competition has moved beyond the amateurish of playing finals where crowds are highest at the expense of fairness. Other professional sports do not do this.

Also, Im not sure what happened in 2017, but I assume Geelong would have won the flag if not for someone else's fault.

Would you complain about playing a home final at Marvel when the only reason it's your home ground is because the AFL forces you to play games there? Because replace Richmond with Geelong, and Marvel with the MCG, and it's the exact same scenario - except the AFL don't fixture your home finals at Marvel..... (and you play away games at the MCG).

Kardinia Park is not fit to play a final at due to capacity and it's weird shape
If you can't win games at your 2nd home ground you don't deserve to win a GF.

Just to confirm is your home ground worth 51 points? Cause that’s what the margin was in the 2017 QF. Pretty crazy if it is, idk why you wouldn’t win the flag every year.

Hawks earned the right to a Friday night game but the Swans forgot to book the SCG on the Saturday night so the AFL let them take the Friday game and Hawks had to have the Saturday.

What really should have been done is the Swans should have been punished for their **** up.
