I think Brisbane will beat Melbourne in the GF.

Adelaide and North eliminated in the Prelims.

The remainder of the eight being Collingwood, Fremantle, Bulldogs & Richmond.

Boldly going with an identical top 9 as last season, with the exception of a slight improvement to Carlton. In other words the only change they're predicting is the most implausible... Not impossible, but also not a tip based on any reasonable analysis (a pure fluke if it wound up correct).

This is the best punditry the football media can come up with! That and Sarah Black's warped idea of promoting the upcoming season by ranking players on form from six months ago, and still doing a really bad job of it (didn't even have Alyce Parker in her half-arsed list).

Don't think I said one wrong is bad either, buddy.

But it's obviously harder to make a correct quirky or unexpected prediction (such as Fremantle to miss, or Geelong to make, the finals) whereas everybody knew Brisbane and Melbourne would be good again, Richmond would push for finals etc.
