I just had a post deleted on the main board for pointing out the irony that Channel 7 fired (stood down) Wayne Carey for using cocaine just days after airing a paid interview with a convicted cocaine smuggler in Cocaine Cassy.

It was a truthful and harmless post.

Very strange.

Can anyone else see a big mistake with the AFL going to a streaming service over foxtel?
I do a fair bit of traveling for work some of it country and streaming the footy is going to suck compared to a satellite service.

So Kayo and not Foxtel? I hope it’s someone like Stan. Pay standard plan and then an extra $10 for sport or something like that. At least not spending just $25 to watch the footy

Yep and it doesn’t factor in the elderly who don’t have Internet and the ability to manage streaming services. My old man basically won’t be able to watch the footy if it’s off free to air.

Kayo is Foxtel .....Foxtel relevant in Country area's as it's a cable service

Word is, Clubs will offer Kayo discounts as part of membership packages ....so as to not "greatly" disadvantage "members"

I know Kayo is Foxtel but reading Froggys comments that it was only going to be streaming.

That’s ok for members but will be interesting to see the discount. Kayo at $27 is way too expensive when you compare to other streaming services.

That wouldn't make sense, given it's the same Company .....same feed

Foxtel aren't going to disadvantage themselves, by not having the AFL on their cable service, at the price they're paying

I know you are probably set up for the satellite for travel, but for most people streaming is more convenient.

All very well for places with reception.
Or go to an event where the network is clogged and it will suck.
I realize I’m in the minority, but currently with fox it gives both options.
