That’s the other upshot of a big “name” club the extras that players can get from being popular and having a membership base 50-100% bigger than ours.
Then on top of that you have supporter base, whilst not members they also buy merch from the clubs that would net players some extra coin no doubt.

He wouldn’t be a target in terms of giving up our already thin draft capital, however, we be good PSD or low pick acquisition. Adds to depth, keeps Powell, JHF and Phillips honest and is a first round pick so makes good sense to bring talent in when there is little outlay.

Even Lazzaro was getting a game towards the end of the year and I’d much rather Bruhn to be honest…

I agree with this. A good pick if the opportunity is there and the cost is low.

Just seen the Hagdorn article, but for what it’s worth I got told last night that we are nearly over the line with Logue. However we are still 50-50 with Bruhn. Geelong looking to push hard after missing out on Hopper.

Logue is looking at a decent wage increase but he is also being sold the case that he will have a big opportunity to make Centre Half Back his own. He is desperate to settle in one position.

KickItAnywhere34 - anything at your end?

Plus some security with 4 years on solid coin isn't bad.

Don’t so much think it’s the length of contract. Freo offering 3 years with triggers for a 4th, but he just wants that CHB position and is currently behind Pearce and Cox. We’ve offered more money, but not crazy amounts more.

Griffin looked like a beast in his draft video, I remember watching and being jelly asf he was off to freo.
Yeah mate he can play - if he’s played in the correct position which is CHB.

The Dockers have a glutton of gun backmen so they tried the ‘BMac experiment’ of plonking him forward and got the exact same result..

🤞🤞🤞 if he chooses us he’ll get back to his form of a couple of years ago and be our gun CHB through the soon-to-be dynasty.

Kim Hagdorn stating Logue to North.

You don't often see 5 or so blokes, while not all best 22, sitting around the best 26, departing in one go from a team on the verge.

Logue's kicking and decision making is a bit hot and cold, but he is absolutely elite one on one.
