He’s not best 22 although Walters can’t have long left. He’s exciting but he’s actually done very little.

It’s great to hear we are looking at another KPD, would love to know who it is.

My view is if we can turn Dunkley into a suitable KPD, it can be a win. But if we lose him just for draft picks, it will be disappointing given we are meant to be competing now.

If it ended up like this, we would addressed so key position issues, but losing Dunks is quite big as I’ve got as our 5th best player:

Nope, not too harsh at all. There's a reason he's in and out of the side.

Dogs -> Dunkley and third rounder

Would be the best result out of a bad situation for us IMO. Significantly improve 3 problem areas for us and still take pick 11 to the draft which it sounds like is a good range to find a Dunks replacement, ironically the same pick we would have sided on Dunks in the first place if we hadn’t downgraded.

I do not know if it was a 90,000 crowd at the MCG but I would love the dogs to play with the passion and for each other as the pies have done. We seem to have a bit of it last season and a lot of it 2016. Maybe Bevo needs to take a leaf out of Macrae's book and lighten up and make it fun again. The sour Bevo did not work this season and one thing for sure no matter how good our recruiting is in the off season the whole team needs to play for each other something that was missing in 2022.

The more I think about it the less I want to spend on Lobb, I really don’t hope this bites us on the ass. He’s had a really good season but he’s never even came close to producing what he did this year, he’s notoriously injury prone and turning 30. We’ve seen first hand the quick downfall of a similarly injury prone Keath. He’s not a good ruckman but admittedly will give us a better chop out than we’ve got.

If he’ll take a 2 + 1 year deal at 500k and we get him for a 3rd rounder then sure its worth the risk. I’d be sceptical to even give up our 2nd rounder though considering I think we need to start prioritising the draft again and 27 is a good pick.

Freo fans starting to realise both him and Logue are only netting them picks in the 20s & 30s. Is pick 11 overs for both? I’m not even sure at this stage tbh how to value them.

Try to tempt an established KPD out from someone. Maybe try and move up the draft into that top 5-6 players. Or just draft some more talent with both picks.

We need to invest in another topline midfielder, I think. Trade for a KPD, draft for elite on-ball talent.
