Why Pavlich is “happy” to let Blues target Acres depart Dockers

Just a headline grab that line. He won't be in our top 10 if he ends up with us. Role player and might not be any better than what we have if our wingers go the next stepHe’s right in what he says though.
In terms of importance to them they’d well and truly have Brayshaw, Serong, Cox, Pearce, Young, Ryan and Tabener ahead of Acres. Then Darcy Brodie, Clark, Chapman all ahead too, and that’s just off the top of my head.
Everyone thinking after a solid outing on the weekend we are stealing the next coming of Peter Matera the best winger to ever play AFL from Freo or something?
I don't think anyone thinks that. From what I can see pretty much everyone is aligned when it comes to the calibre of footballer Acres is.
Updated again. So, where we are at now:
Senior List: 33
Rookie List: 5
Rookie B: 1 (removed Owies, who cannot stay on Rookie B list, is likely now on senior list)
33+5=38, max=42. So 4 places now free, along with one free spot on the Rookie B list.
Waiting new contracts:
Senior List: Marchbank, Setterfield, Fogarty, Ed Curnow (4)
Rookie List: none
Rookie B: Akuei (1)
Edit: Removed LOB & Boyd from "waiting new contracts"
Edit2: Removed Cottrell, Durdin, Owies, Honey from "waiting new contracts". Assume Owies must now be on Senior List.
Edit3: Removed Cuningham from "waiting new contracts".
Yeap. Can take any player from swannies and you’d be near assured they’d be good to very good.Sydney would be the place to go looking for a small forward, they seem to churn out good ones regularly.

How about this..is this a fair hypothetical trade...for both teams...
Blues get Josh Diacos and Ollie Henry
Collingwood get Harry McKay
???
I say yes!
Even happy with just Josh Diacos as the trade.
Am I crazy?
Agree with all this. After a bit of contracting action, we are down to the following players left to either sign-up or say bye to.
I'm just going to give my opinion here:
2022
8. Lachie Fogarty - delist - doesn't offer enough, give the other kids a go instead
22. Caleb Marchbank - sign up - all that work to get him back from injury, he's not going anywhere!
35. Ed Curnow - delist, I don't understand why there's a need to keep him on the list for 2023
41. Domanic Akuei (Cat B Rookie) - keep as rookie
43. Will Setterfield - sign up, too good to let go for nothing and would be a great backup
Marchy still included, so if Acres is added we're at 3 spots. So wrapping my head around the list figures that Bletch posted:
If we re-sign Marchbank and add Acres that only leaves 2 list spots to fill at the draft.
Yep, the 33 players on the senior list number includes the four players still waiting on a new contract. (Marchy, Ed, Setters, Fog)Marchy still included, so if Acres is added we're at 3 spots.
