No Himmelberg?Yeah but they're running out of midfielders LOL
I might double GWS, Perryman down back and Tom Green in the middle
Him and Taranto might cut each others lunch a bit though? If Jacob Hopper goes to the Tigers he will be a Fulltime midfielder with a proper coach. He will be well under priced at around $360k

He's 30
He's a wing man really, not an inside mid. Maybe they get Bruhn if they miss Hopper.
<insert Geelong love old players joke>He's 30
Oh yeah, forgot about him. Sicily 2.0 might also be a lockNo Himmelberg?
He was low TOG playing forward/second ruck. Can Freo carry him and Brodie both playing midfield and having 60% TOG?Now this would be interesting Luke Jackson playing midfield for Freo
Forward thinking: Dockers eye unique midfield role for Jackson
Luke Jackson appears unlikely to spend too much time in the forward line if his potential move west to Fremantle comes offwww.afl.com.au
In fairness, he had 78% TOG when he solo rucked against Brisbane, so it might be down to structure as much as it is fitness. He was low TOG playing forward/second ruck. Can Freo carry him and Brodie both playing midfield and having 60% TOG?
Such a strange trade, makes sense if he goes to WC as NicNat is almost done, but not Freo.
They're trading out their only half decent forward in lobb to get a second ruck.In fairness, he had 78% TOG when he solo rucked against Brisbane, so it might be down to structure as much as it is fitness.
I agree it's a strange one for Freo though, because it doesn't solve their forward problem, unless they think they can turn Darcy into a star forward (and he would have to be a star to justify it).

Lock him in round 1SWANS TO ADD TO RE-SIGNINGS
SYDNEY youngster Will Gould is set to join the list of recent Swans re-signings on a new deal. He does exist.
Wouldn’t think so, I’d imagine both him and Darcy split time between forward and ruck. With Darcy and lobb at Fremantle, could Jackson be played like a fellow 199cmer in Justin Westhoff?
That was my assumption but Freo refused to play meek and have Darcy split time forward.Wouldn’t think so, I’d imagine both him and Darcy split time between forward and ruck.
Both very capable forwards, and now they’ve got great versatility in the ruck with the option of an agile, athletic ruck with Jackson, or a more physical ruck in Darcy
I think there’s a difference in quality between Meek and Jackson though. That was my assumption but Freo refused to play meek and have Darcy split time forward.
Has me wondering, does darcy split time forward with Jackson or does darcy remain the Ruck with Jackson playing as a forward pinch ruck or even a midfield pinch ruck?
Tanner Bruhn at Geelong, $300k-ish M/F
17 games @ 53 this year, only one tonne. I haven't paid him any attention, assume he has been mainly half forward and sub.
