Confirmed - just watched Perth Ch 7 news and the backdrop was the G with club logos on the broadcast wing.

It mildly annoys me that it is Sydney painted on the left and Geelong on the right. As the nominal home team Geelong should be listed first as they are everywhere else.

Is this due to the 6-6-6 rule? i.e. the 50m arcs are an actual defined boundary under the rules rather than just being there for aesthetics like they used to be?

I'd say it's more to do with Telstra

I noticed this too. Sydney never posted (AFAIK) any content showing the patches being heat pressed like clubs often do. I’d really like to see a proper close up because I reckon they might be different to the ones used by Geelong.

Good close up of the footy used in the GF. Again the AFL logo was gold, but there is also a very faint ‘Grand Final’ text in it, the same spot that the logo on the jumpers says ‘Premiers’.

So the ultra wide gap between the AFL and Ford logo has always irritated me...

Can not work out how in this day and age they cant either get a set of jumpers printed on Sunday/Monday for the game and/or actually embryoid them on with a sewing machine if that's not available.

Brisbane 2002 got new jumpers made up with the formal re branding of Cellular One and AAPT, that had the GF Logo actually on the jumper.

I think Russell Athletic had the logos sew on in 2001.

Hawks in 2012 had sublimated GF logo, think pies did in 2010 as well?
