Gees. If going for DeGoey has taken space away from getting Bowes and pick 7 I’ll be livid. I’m sure there is way more to this behind the scenes that we’re unaware of but the optics are terrible if we are not all over this Bowes deal.

I’ll hold off my judgement on the club until October 12th, but if we haven’t improved our youth stocks and bolstered our draft hand I’ll be very disappointed.

Not even a certainty to land DeGoey, but we better be working on something big otherwise expect more mediocrity.

Personally I'd be livid if we sacrificed getting De Goey to get Bowes.

That’s a really good question Mowman. I went a bit off track today.
Multigrain wrap (microwaved for 20 seconds to make it easier to wrap).

We’re all just speculating. It’s disappointing but there will be a very good reason why we are not making a play for Bowes.

Maybe the pick 7 was a honeymoon headline with other draft picks (future picks) needing to go back to the Suns.

I don't get the need to jump on the club like a pack of dogs over this deal when it's very unclear what the deal is.

I can say without doubt that if it was pick 7 alone to take the salary we wouldn't just drop out. Either he has turned us down, or that's not the deal.

Because those types look for any reason to shit on the club. And the list manager not pulling off one of their imaginary trade scenario's is obviously a display of incompetence despite us not knowing any of the details.

I think you should wait to see what transpires before you crack it. Every club board has been spitballing about how they get Bowes and pick 7 for the past few days. One journo says we pulled out because of the contract size, but what's the actual deal that gets us that contract? You don't actually know.

On top of that once a player nominates a club that's where they go. It's not an open market.
