Is that example corruption in a Criminal Court. If so, why are we waiting the a Fed watchdog. Prosecute them.
That is an example of a bunch of grifting campaigners handing money out left and right to people who have not even applied for it.

If you are happy to pay your taxes and rack up a trillion dollars debt just so they can keep their snouts in the trough then you are dumber than I imagined.

The fact you actively defend them is truely frightening.

Then you would be ashamed of any government that engages in pork barrelling:
'The Auditor General has revealed the $800 million Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program has been used by Labor as a pork barrelling vehicle to funnel money into its own seats.'

Are you that poorly informed or choosey about who you call out?

and this is why we need a public ICAC, and if the politicians are ashamed of their own behaviour and snuff themselves, maybe they should address both their own behaviour and how it will be perceived.

IF corrupt there are legal remedies now - they require PROOF.
I am happy for there to be an anti corruption watchdog.

IF Cooldude you are happy with individuals being destroyed without PROOF, I'm not.

The ICAC in NSW has seen politicians tried in a Court of Law & I have no problem with that process.

The public elected these people, therefore the public deserves a transparent view of the process

If these pollies have nothing to hide then they should be more than happy for the public to see the process and discern for themselves their innocence

You are just using the "people COMMITTED SUICIDE" and "WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE POOR CORRUPT POLLIES" as a manipulative emotional guilt trip to prevent people from seeing the truth and protect the crooks like the little Lib lapdog that you are. Hope you are paid well to simp for them on an internet forum and not doing it for free, otherwise it'd be pathetic

I am disappointed by any misappropriated Government spending.

I realise thar it is a Liberal Party media release, and that Labor dealings weren't exactly kosher. But did the Liberals learn anything from the findings.and their actual media release.

Favouring electorates, assessing grants ignoring guidelines, lack of compliance were features of our past Government.

But it simply just has to stop. The current Government is at least giving the impression that it is going to try.

And no. I will not be holding them to the same black and white interpretation that you will have highlighting some dubious or isolated incident but as a whole of their body of work.

Mayo & it says plenty about you. You will make anything up to suit your politics.

You could clarify for yourself the relationship between the law & corruption.

Not impressed with the default setting being for private hearings. Hopefully the crossbench can amend.
Thank goodness for independents if they can get these amendments through. Further shows why people have to stop voting for the big 2 like it's a cult/religion. Happy for both of their primary votes to drop to low 20%'s by the next election.

Problem is that Labor won't need the cross bench if the Libs support private hearings. The big 2 will gang up to protect their own.
