At least I've seen the draftees. Who else would he listen to? A bunch of 'Who is this Cadman bloke?' guys?

We won a flag built purely from the draft. Our future will be built solely on the draft. As far as I'm concerned, savvy supporters should at least have an idea of the top 20-30 draftees. This current trade period is dictated by how Jason Taylor rates these players. Obviously he rates someone specifically in the top 7.

I'm actually warming to you lately. When you go on one of your left field rants you're actually very funny.. Make me laugh quite a lot. I'd miss you if you weren't around.

Lever was traded in though so not sure that works on your draft only theory. While I agree with we built our list on the draft and filled holes through trading. Lever and May mainly while adding Hibberd and Langdon through trades.

Yeah true. It was simply how many first rounders did we have in the team sort of point. May was picked up by Gold Coast as a priority zone selection, but we traded Pick 5 to get him. So without hitting the draft early we wouldn't have had a chance to trade for May.

I dont think he played his best in the championships, still was pretty good though, I saw highlights from a game for his under 18 team and he was on another level. Looked like a mix of Cripps and Kouta. Get him in the gym adding to that frame and I reckon he could be an all time great.

I was at this game. Albeit watching every player but I think his highlights sum him up. Turned it over about 8 times, and a few freak out rush kicks. I think he just doesn't ooze composure.

I said above I dont think he was very good in this game, but you can see the attributes. Guys that big shouldn't move like he can. The ability to win the ball and burst out of a stoppage is freakish, he plays inside outside perfectly.

Freak shit below:

1:43 ground ball win against two opponents, clean pick up and centring kick under pressure to hit up a teammate
2:13 great finish under pressure
3:57 would have been one of the best centre square stoppage goals ive seen if he kicked it. Receives the hit out, handballs in mid air to a teammate before he can be tackled, gets on his bike bursting away leaving everybody in his dust to receive a handball and misses from 50 (probably could have run another 5ms)

Hasn't really improved much and stuck behind the best forward combo in the comp. He's a bit parts player, but is he worth a punt given he'll be cheap in contract and picks? Geelong open to moving him for more opportunities.

Big enough, athletic enough and can take a grab. Cheap backup and -might- come good at Casey. 24 yo, 197cm. We could do worse?

I think if we don't get Grundy we would have to get someone like him. Still feel we need a back up ruck/forward in the Pedo mould. Think we might see Weid as that role but not sure he comes to us to be a back up as thats what he is at Geelong.

I tend to look for elite traits moreso unless it's a constant theme of errors you see. I'm willing to forgive the occasional howler which he's prone to coz of the things he can do that others can't.
