Agree with you, the only criteria is and has always been football skill and IQ first , the rest will develop, flashes are just that superficial, tear away speed form stoppages etc etc , Paddy Dow possessed goodWhen 2 minute highlights include an ootf and shank shot at goal it is a worry. Seems to have a big body that is not very toned. Looks like a man child that will have challenges against player his own size
Kicking looks ordinary here - whatever the traits are of our first pick, elite kicking has to be top of the list
You're probably right, it was just a hypothetical.WC's future 1st could be pick 1 - Harley Reid, they would never give that up especially for pick 10 and f2
Humphrey is certainly a bit of a man-child.
Buyer beware?
Have to admit I know f**k all about these kids, but hope we pick a fast one with good disposal.

I really like what I saw of Clark in what I have seen in the U18s. Would be really surprised if he didn't turn out a 200+ game player. Would 10 and a future 2 entice * suns or hawks enough to get in front of cats? And what might Cats give on draft night if we had that pick in our hand given they are currently draft winners?I'm interested in Phillipou, Humphrey, Clark or Hayes.
Not interested in Mackenzie or Sheezel.

Small sample, but more what we need.
Is Brayden George any good and what pick do you think he'll go?
Probably one of the more genuine mid sized forwards in the draft. Before ACL, late 1st, now mid to late 2nd.
I think 2 of either Hotton, George or Hollands would suit our needs, would probably have to trade 10 back and bring 29 forward to achieve this.Would you be happy if we took both Hotton & George with our current 1st 2 picks?
Would you be happy if we took both Hotton & George with our current 1st 2 picks?
Absolutely, both are half forwards first at next level. Overkill. If we took Hotton, no to George

That highlight package reminds me of a player we just gave to Essendon.
All I'm learning from these photos is how many blokes get a handle of the chalkboard friction after one line or two
No current season stats available
I believe he is some way behind Phillipou or Busslinger if one or both are still there. If he is still around at our first pick, I hopewe pick Ollie Hollands.
Feels like he is as close to a sure bet as any of the top prospects.

I would take Hewitt before Hollands.
yup agree and at the ned of the day Luck too plays a huge part in the outcome And it’s about time for us. Austin is astute, won’t misfire selections. Will back your judgement in/take your word for it.
We are going to get a very good prospect with our first pick anyway, which is why I don't see the need for us to try trade up in the draft (esp potentially at the cost of our future 1st round pick)
KostanskyWho plays the closest to Papley in the draft
