At least they got deals done.

"HI EVERYONE WE HAVE PICK 7 AND ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS PAY SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVG WAGES FOR AN AVG PLAYER"

Yeah, no idea how they managed to get that deal sorted.

Like offering pick 2 for Lachie Weller. I mean, if they offered us pick 2 for Daniel Howe a few years ago we probably would have accepted it. Probably.

Not all clubs are GCS and GWS. So list managers actually need to do some work.

You're trying to judge them they same as other clubs.

Weller was an important get for them. And they've been over supplied with high draft picks. They can't keep them all.

Weller was an avg player and continues to be an avg player.

That you think it was an important trade speaks to your irrational expectations.

GCS and GWS live in a fantasy world.

Backwards over the next 12 months but they have an amazing list for the future, particularly if Amiss comes on as expected.

It really depends on if Taberner stays fit. We also have Amiss, Treacey and Corbett. If any one of those three has a decent season next season we would have improved dramatically.

A little bit backwards for 2023; a huge step forwards for 2024 and onwards.
Seems to be the consensus, thank you for engaging in a proper conversation.
