As pebblesofsand says, he has a pattern. can he change?. After two clubs, doing the same thing and the end result is still zero flags, i don't know. We won't know this until a number of weeks into the season.

With gritted teeth i will jump on board. my membership is coming out of my bank account this week. I won't talk about again again too much, i have had my say and my opinion about what i think about him as a person. Hope that if he does come back that we don't have egg on our faces, and we win the flag.

I'd just think you're more likely to win a Grand Final if you're playing in it but that's just me.
What do the statistics or odds or whatever say about the team that finished 9th or 10th winning the Premiership.

From what I understand, Ross and his management asked the St Kilda hierarchy for clarity many times and they weren't forthcoming or prepared to put anything on the table other than a below standard one year deal.

I'd put this right in the St Kilda admin corner, you are talking the guys who sent us to Seaford. To say he knifed Mark Harvey is complete LOL.

99.9% of us would do the exact same thing if we were in his shoes.

yes,but even though there was the 3 month clause, he still at the time had more than 1 year to go on his contract. I bet , if the saints had extended ross's contract by say 2 years the amount of backlash to the club for extending his contract would have been high. there was backlash mid year for extending Rattehn's contract with 6 months to go. How much more so with Ross at the time.

Me neither. Remember a lot of "can he or can't he rebuild" discussion which was fair as the answer was unknown but I think most felt he deserved then opportunity given his performance in driving the current squad to new heights

Deliberate OOB was much less policed than it is now, etc. He's been watching. We'll see.

This forum is pretty much a bunch of men shouting each other down. Samm isn't an aggressive poster and doesn't play the man. You can let her give her point of view and be accomodating and not abrasive towards her. She's comes on and voices her opinion and one that's shared pretty widely. If you are secure in your opinions you should be able to debate her without getting aggressive or belittling.
