49ers alternate defense makes them Tier 5

I know the ravens need a receiver but…. did he have to be 35yo?

OBJ still out there…. [emoji20]

Maybe Odell doesnt want to play with Lamar? Just saying.

I think it is becoming clear that this is Brady's last season, so one more for Rodgers. It's interesting that the Contract Rodgers signed would have been under the assumption that Brady would stay retired and therefore was more likely to be a one year deal than a two year deal

There is the small question of the 2023 option bonus ($58.3 million) that kicks in if Rodgers plays next year. That, plus his current signing bonus pro-rating would leave a dead cap of $68.2 million! I would expect the current contract would be re-negotiated if Rodgers wants to play in 2023.
his contract is a timebomb. whenever he retires the team is f**ked. im not sure we can rework the deal.

Probably didn't want to waste any future picks and big money, Jackson wouldn't find them if he had Rice and Moss in their primes to throw to.

I would have Eagles Tier 2 with the Vikings. drop the rest to T3 and move up the Jags to T4.

Pats too low. Rams way way way too high. Tampa too high. Bengals too high. Chargers probably too high. Way off this week mate.

Valid points
But who replaces them? 4 down 1 up.

depends on who the 10 voters are.
I wouldnt have the Packers in the top 15. they would be close to 20 or lower.
15-20 is largely a wash
Week to week I do top 6, bottom 6, playoff likelihood (7-14) and then the middle pack. GB could be a tad lower, Pats could be a tad higher, but on best evidence, they are pretty even. 3 point game either way at each home field.

and that's my point about most people putting their team in the middle - I would have the Vikings mid pack as well
Really? About 10 I could understand but they couldn’t be lower surely?

I think the Bills and KC are the only good teams right now. Eagles and vikings good but have question marks. then about 10 teams who at their best can win, but are playing like they would be rolled by the 08 Lions.

Eagles beat the living suitcase out of the Vikings, having them in the same tier is whack.

they are above them. like Eagles not good enough for tier 1, and vikings are like tier 2/3 otherwise tier 2 and 3 would only have 1 team each.

But im sure once eagles fans see it they will bitch and moan, whenever the team is up there the fanbase gets super touchy at anyone not willing the crown them the best team in the history of time and space.

They should bitch and moan, clearly a tier 1 team. Best defense in the NFL. Offense is good enough to compliment a #1 D and be a true contender.

I dont trust them yet. Just because they havent lost yet doesnt make them the best team. Did everyone thing Arizona was the best team last year? because they started 7-0 and then limped into the playoffs.

im not saying they are like Arizona last year, but just dont think they can keep it up for another 3.5months. They stop playing on both sides of the ball for entire drives mid game, at their best they would be blowing out teams by 40 ever week. the QB sneak thing is going to get Hurts killed.

Right now tho, they're tier one, and justifiably so. No team is perfect. The Bills have had their poor drives on O or D, so have the Chiefs, who almost lost a few teams already. So the Eagles having their in-game moments of switching off or whatever, is fine.

Brady's been doing it for 20 years. Overblown.
the 2 TE's pushing him is going to have more teams try what Dallas did and headhunt him.

No because i wouldnt take the eagles to beat either the Bills or KC if they played this week. it might be bias because those teams have been good for longer and the eagles in preseason were seen as a team who could be good, but not expected to win the NFC. Just because they are the best team in the NFC today doesnt mean they are as good as the top of the AFC.

Its all subjective anyway. just because i think they are the 3rd best team but a class below Buffalo/KC doesnt make them a bad team.

Well i had the Giants getting pick 1. so my opinion might just be really bad.

Another filthy Packers homer who had the Packers winning it, cant be trusted u lot.

Yup. Which was my conundrum. I think Philly are clear of Minny, but as I say, 4-12 is a crapshoot to some extent, at the moment. All flawed.

Seahawks own first round is going to end up in the high 20's at this rate.

I have a feeling we can make the wild card spot if we nab a decent RB to replace Penny, too much to put it all on KW3.

We would be such a better team with a decent linebacker like Wagner still there. left a huge hole in the back field.

Actually give us a good chance to compete with the Chargers, not convinced of them this morning.

Geno Smith fan club captain Seppo in the house!!

Ahhhhh a day when Geno is rated "Elite" and Tom Brady is rated "Kirk Cousins", and Lamar is rated as Carson Wentz.
Good times...

Geno on a $30 million contract next year is going to be hilarious. Mind you I’d take Geno on $3.5 million over Cousins ($35 million) any day.
