And what about from round 2 onwards?I think I will wait for the fixture to choose my rucks. Grundy + Nicnat my temptation at the moment. Preferably a second ruck who does not play the dees twice.
I’ll probably just run with Cox and Sandilands.
Can’t be any worse than 2022
DeGoey anyone ?
DeGoey anyone ?
It could all be dependent on match-ups. I suspect Gawn would have to be the one that plays primarily as a forward though, because he's much better at that role than Grundy.I like the idea of picking Grundy over Gawn for SC. But it’s still a bit risky. We assume Grundy will play more ruck but Gawn is 6 x AA ruck himself.
Yeah I reckon it is quite a bit quieter on the SC front than normalIs it me .....or is the SC Industry much quiter, at this time of the year, than usual ? .....I even had to check if SC BBL was a goer this year, as there's simply no noise on social media about it ??

AFLW in full swing so maybe they don’t want too many AFL stories to distract from that
(or - conspiracy theory - election on here in VIC and the Herald Sun running one particular angle pretty hard in that contest so might prefer people focusing on that, rather than SC, just at the moment)
Easier to care when your team is still involvedThere is also the T20 World cup going on at the moment if any actually cares about it. (Just like the Election)
Any quality ruckmen just waiting for an opportunity? With the top rucks looking more likely to average 100-110 than the 130s of past a solid rookie priced ruck could be rather competitive this year.
From recent memory there has been;
2022; Preuss 91.9, $204,700
2021; Flynn 87.0, $123,900
2019; O'brien 95.3 $136800
2017; Witts 94.3 $217,600
He would have been the perfect R2 if he didnt cover the injured Darcy last year, he would be priced around $200,000, dominated WAFL, 24/25 years old and an opportunity at hawthorn. At $470,000 he isnt much value.Meek won't be rookie priced but could score big
Connor McKenna @ Brisbane. Will he be rookie priced?
Might not be great for Wilmot.
Mckenna might not be ready round 1? How do players usually go coming from whatever they call the Irish version of footy? Isn't it an amateur sport?Or Coleman’s upward trend, showed a fair bit from round 13 onwards
