When I looked into the story further it looked a lot like speculation, where one media outlet copied another's and embellished it. He's a promising young player who will probably leave the Danish Superliga before too long, so he's being 'linked' to all the usual clubs.

Apparently he has trialled with Liverpool and they made him an offer.

Power, pace and strength have never been Messi's main attributes. He thrives in a much less physical Ligue 1.


If one of our rivals wanted to sign Messi as their next striker for the next few seasons I'd be all for it.
