At this point i'd be happy to read just about any rumour. Schoenberg likes watching The Office reruns, Worrell is considering getting a Mr T inspired haircut, Rachele is cutting all italian food out over Summer....

This trade period to draft has been brutally long, someone give me something!

I know a lot like to think that but he's only 25 and with his meticulous preparation and team first attitude they'll continue to be wrong for a long time yet.

Has finished the last 2 seasons beat up and half the player he was in the first half of each year. When your 1 wood is effort and fitness, it comes early and quickly.

We are bereft of other good options though. It's a two horse race.

Playing injured doesn't make one a 'warrior' it can make them a liability and selfish. We have seen countless examples of over the past 5 years at the club.

Injuries doesn't give him an excuse to play poorly. Know your limits, take a couple of weeks off and get right. Don't drag down the team because you like continuity.

To be honest nobody. From all looks it seems that Dawson/Doedee are the safest options and tick a lot of boxes.

I am not going to be mad if the club selects one of them, just think its picking the safe option.

And its just a personal preference for me. Dawson/Doedee are safe and easy. Maybe I am clouded by the Tex appointment, but I would prefer a regime change where we identify a new captain for our rise up the ladder.

Tex equivalent would need to be someone who's been at the club awhile, will be a guaranteed best 22 and capable of the inspirational. And risky, obviously.

So that can only be Fog, right?

I'd personally go Dawson or Doedee and let Fog concentrate on his own game. But Fog would be an entertaining captain.
