He’s a rubbish footballer who has been gifted afl games. Might be a nice bloke and I wish him all the best but should never have been on our list let alone play a game..he’s in the top 5 of our worst footballers ever.

We are just more confused why jed is in the afl at all, it almost seems unfair
I like to think of him more as Eddie the Eagle soaring far above the sound of the clicking of keyboard warriors.

The difference being that lot has zero AFL games between them. If McEntee had faded into obscurity and been delisted like he should have been, we'd all have forgotten he ever existed by now.
Needs to be persisted with and at least given the same opportunities as Jake Neade and Sam Gray before we make any premature calls.

I think we should drop him forever and delist him the week after a 20 disposal 4 goal game like we did Butcher.
Could say the same of Sam Hayes.
I don’t hold high hopes for Jed. But I do have an issue with calling for players to be delisted in pre season. Who knows, he could be training with the mids and will be the next Ablett jnr

Which is why we played him twice, realised he was crap, banished him to the SANFL forever and delisted him.
McEntee isn't the worst player to ever grace our list, but he's probably the worst player to ever last as long as he has on our list and play as many games as he has.
Jed isn't the worst player ever, but the reality is that we could gave replaced him with obvious selections of noah long or blake drury. Both have much more upside and are both reportedly having very good pre-seasons.

Yeah, not our best player nor automatic pick. I still believe Jed will be putting pressure on for more game time in 2023. His 2022 was below average (except for tackles) but he noticeably got better as last season went along - and don’t forget, he is another midfielder we are trying to turn into a high pressure forward (we keep experimenting) I know that there appears to be a number of players ahead of him on paper, but I think he will show his is capable.
While I am in general agreeance with most people on here that McEntee doesn't seem to have the traits to be a good footballer, the room around these areas is very harsh. I remember last year 4 and a half games in people were trading or IIRC delisting Rozee.

He was training with Sinn and Burgoyne in the last set of training photos so it looks like he is managing some sort of injury.
