North track watchers saying Wardlaw in doubt for R1 with ongoing hamstring issues and doing a similar program to Cyril Rioli, rebuilding his running style to remove the chance of reinjury

Interesting. I was on track to have 9 players in my Fantasy team from that R1 North v WC game (Wardlaw + Yeo, Sheed, Ginbey, Chesser, LDU, W. Phillips, Sheezel and O. Allen) - so now down to 8 which is far more reasonable.

That was last year - he's all recovered now and should get games early on.
Oh thank god, some west coast supporters were saying he was going to build through the WAFL

That is certainly a possibility, our board meme is all about 'credits in the bank' from our veterans getting guaranteed games as we finish 17th with 2 wins. The jungle drums will be beating hard for us to bring the young talent in from early on.

Parish still in injury rehab where he has been for the last month, not good at all. No one is telling us what his injury is, might be the dodgy calf again

No/shortened pre-season means he'll unfortunately have to leave my team - which is very annoying because he's been locked in there for the last month...

Oh well, come on down one of Cerra, LDU or T. Green

As always, rookies evaporating...and then will re-materialize on selection day - such is Fantasy :tearsofjoy:
Menzie is one looking good for Essendon

UPDATE

The 26-year-old had only just fully recovered from the knee reconstruction he required after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in April last year.

AFL.com.au understands scans have confirmed Hayes has cracked a metatarsal in his left foot and is set to be sidelined for up to ten weeks

Collingwood cruelled by Kreuger injury

Collingwood have suffered a cruel injury setback to start the new year with luckless big man Nathan Kreuger forced to have a shoulder reconstruction after injuring his right arm at training prior to the holiday break

Kreuger was spotted at Collingwood training on Monday with his arm in a sling and is not expected to line up for the Pies until at least six weeks into their 2023 season.

Fin Macrae will start running again in the coming weeks after suffering a stress issue in his back late last year

“Fin Macrae has been working through a stress-related back issue and the plan is for him to be back running within the next couple of weeks.

Was inevitable ....no Pre-season training for 2 consecutive years ....only reason Tyler Brown was invited to PS training
Jesus scrapping the bottom of the barrel with Brown was hoping someone good might get a gig
