Oh I think he should be forgiven for that whole Chelsea stint. Not sure any manager would've succeeded under the circumstances.

Everton is the big blot, but not sure he has the ego to drop back to the Championship to see if he can succeed like Carrick is.

Weren't those players he brought into the team along with Abraham?
Well yeah his connections helped. Just can’t manage for s**t. Conceded just under 60 goals in his first season at Chelsea ..terrible defence even though they finished fourth. Talent was there as Tuchel showed when he took over

Well Tuchel won a CL

If Scott Parker can get a job managing a CL side like Brugge then Lampard should be able to get a gig somewhere good abroad. Dont think he manages in the PL unless he does that and repairs his reputation or goes to a club and gets them promoted

You worried that if it was Poch that the magic wouldn’t be the same the 2nd time round?
Like getting back together with an ex, how often does it ever work? Eventually the same issues will come up

Wouldn't mind Ange. He would get the fans on side quickly with his style

You don't deserve Ange, he is Elland Rd bound (hopefully :) )

Never get using that as a stick to beat him with, maintaining Chelsea's position in the 4 after a transfer ban and bringing a bunch of youth through, getting that Derby side into the play offs (which outside of Mount and Wilson really wasn't all that good) and keeping Everton up are all good achievements. Or else should we be demanding Klopp and Pep go because they're looking like taking their sides to a worse finish than last year?

I'd argue this was Lampard's first really poor season (that second Chelsea season he had to bed in a bunch of new signings which was taking time), and even then, the club is in a pretty awful state outside of him.

The transfer ban stuff is funny because they signed Kovacic and Pulisic.
