I'm hoping the Renegades can make it through to the final, they were better than the Sixers last Sunday and it was a much better match than this one.

That result flattered them last week. It was Jack reiwoldt esk the way they fired up in junk time when the game was over.

Once that excellent partnership between Turner and Bancroft got going, that was never really in doubt. The Scorchers bowled well and were largely untroubled once Turner and Bancroft got their eye in. Both sides will want to work on their catching ahead of their next game. I reckon you can almost engrave the Scorchers name on the BBL trophy. Should they win the challenger, a Sixers side sans Steve Smith won't beat them and I can't the Renegades or the Heat winning the title either.

That was a great game, great crowd, great atmosphere, great weather, great day.

Turner was clutch.
Dorf got us off to a flyer.
Hardie and especially Payne did their bit.
Bancroft smart anchoring.

All in all, very happy.
Now on to the first leg of the back to back, 3 title,Western Juggernaut.
