Few years away hopefully the kid picks saints over Port.

PORT ADELAIDE/ST KILDA

Gill Wakelin

(Son of 2004 premiership player Darryl Wakelin)

Draft year: 2025

Position: Key position player

Primarily a tall defender, like his dad, but also capable of playing forward, Gill has impressed at Sturt due to his exceptional ability to read the ball in flight and his strong marking. He is already a nice size and will definitely be a name to watch in the next few years. Darryl’s 100-plus games at Port Adelaide (146) and St Kilda (115) ensures Gill is tied to both.

His old man is a premiership player at Port and he’s playing footy at Sturt, so I’d say no chance

Ratugolea.
Fijian.
Without the Cursing.

Do not want.
The Fijian doesn’t even have to play. He can just be the glue that binds the team together and encourages you to be better.

I’d take Ratta in a heartbeat. Before he injured himself he looked on track to be a star.

I think he's got plenty of weapons, but goes missing for extended periods, and is inconsistent kicking on goal.

You do a lot of overrating of players that aren’t in a St Kilda jumper man

He is a GOP at best. Hayes has shown more than him.

Would be handy depth if he came cheap

Star ,,, when has he ever shown he could be a star , more like your GOP

As Gringo has previously mentioned surely Hudson GARONI has to be bought in to train with the club. He is 196cm key forward who can chop out in the ruck from the same draft year as the Kings. 22yo who has been doing well playing at FF for Werribee.

He is a natural footballer rather than an athlete but covers the ground well.

He looked really promising before he did his knee. Was taking big marks and broke into a very good side and had a break out semi final as a 20 year old. Looked like he'd go on to be a gun.

He played a finals series as a 20 year old that looked like he would go on to become a gun. He's never really broken back in. I think he'd be a good low cost ruck forward option with huge upside. He's still young.

Weideman or Schache would have come in handy right now for the prices they were traded for

Weed more than Schache. Schache is more like Mason Wood, a KP sized utility.

He has basically played one good game in his career, you're very loose with the term Gun

To me, I don’t think he’s ever looked like he’d put it all together. Athletically great, but dishpan hands and no game iq. Always looked like his marks were something that would come along once in a while.

It seems we are taking the free list spot into the season since Eyre wasnt offerred a spot. Hopefully we can find someone throughout the year to be taken in MSD.
