Watch it again… his disposals go nowhereHe was actually pretty good today. The rest of the year has been garbage though.

Five day break works in his favour. But not much else.It will be almost 4 weeks since his previous game. Week of SANFL, or straight back, I don't really mind.
McAdam's pressure in the preseason was outstanding. McAdam's marking will be needed if we drop Gollant. Although Fogarty is pretty good aerially as well but the more good marks the better. Walker hadn't been taking marks like he has in the past as well. I think we need to go full offence against Carlton to give them no chance.Five day break works in his favour. But not much else.
Rankine is playing closer to goals than many thought before round 1. I'm not sure Shaneo is completely necessary. Others provide better pressure which has been proven to be an important element.
I wouldn't be surprised either way but Nicks did say this week that selections were made this week while being cognisant of the short break to follow.

If Soligo gets rubbed out I’ll never watch an AFL game againFog for Gollant (or Tex if rested)
Pedler for McHenry (tough after a good game, but that’s AFL in a good team)
Not sure about McAdam… Murphy has been pretty good. It’s not like McAdam had a lot of laurels to rest on. Might be force to play his way back in.
If Soligo gets rubbed out - Berry.

Pedlar Fog inAssuming Carlton play only 1 key forward...
In: Parnell, Pedlar, Fogarty, McAdam
Out: Butts, Murphy, Schoenberg, Gollant
B: Michalanney, Murray, Hinge
HB: Smith, Doedee, Milera
C: Sholl, Dawson, Jones
HF: Pedlar, Walker, Keays
F: Fogarty, Thilthorpe, Rankine
R: O'Brien, Rachele, Laird
I: Parnell, Soligo, Sloane, McAdam
Sub: McHenry
Rough on a few players but we need to play our best against Carlton.
Rest anyone with significant niggles.
No doubtBerry is an interesting one
Hasn't looked right this season. Should he have an SANFL run before getting another look in?
No sanfl this week so it will be a month before McAdam plays a game. I’m playing him before MurphyPedlar Fog in
Mchenry Gollant out
Mchenry sub
No need to rush guys back in unless they are in our best 6-10 like fog
McAdam and Berry can go dominate sanfl then come in
We are building a deeper squad finally
NopeNo sanfl this week so it will be a month before McAdam plays a game. I’m playing him before Murphy
Our forward line was starved in the second half against GWS.Nope
Let’s say he dominated against GWS then yep
But he didn’t and he’s more in that 16-23rd picked bracket
Murphy has done nothing wrong and alot right
We don’t need to rush 16-23 players back anymore , same goes for anyone in that bracket
Pedlar and fog are must haves , McAdam isn’t in that bracket , especially after a month off
McAdam was one of our best in the preseason and has the runs on the board. Berry has been one of our best mids for two years. He had a couple of bad games. Big deal. He is better (even out of form) than the other hack mids we have. Talking about Schoenberg, Hately, Brown, Crouch. Taylor has potential but he isn't ready.Pedlar Fog in
Mchenry Gollant out
Mchenry sub

How good is it to have a genuine selection squeeze again ?Our forward line was starved in the second half against GWS.
McAdam finished 6ish didn’t he in our B&F, that indicates he’s not 16-23 in the coaches eyes.
Murphy was ok today, but given how well we played, was in our bottom players.
Facts are McAdam is the better player and far more dangerous.
And if McAdam doesn’t play, he will effectively miss 6 weeks of AFL
I love the people that want to make 7 changes after back to back winsThe disdain for Hinge is laughable. Geez, we can be a ruthless bunch.
I’m sure McAdam forces his way back in but not sure it needs to be this weekFive day break works in his favour. But not much else.

Forecast looks good also. Fine and calm with an overnight minimun of 14 which is fairly mild for this time of the year.Any chance we break our Adelaide oval attendance record on Thursday ? Has that feel about it that every man ana his dog is going
What’s the record ? 52.5k for Phil Walsh showdown ? Or the cats prelim ?
Going to be huge !Forecast looks good also. Fine and calm with an overnight minimun of 14 which is fairly mild for this time of the year.
Yep. I can’t see the club wanting him to go a month without any footy at all and 5 without AFL action.I’m in the ‘McAdam needs to play’ boat. I don’t think I would be if we had a SANFL game next week, but he needs some kind of match fitness, especially considering the player type he is (needs reps)
If you don’t play him this week, he’s likely not playing again until round 7. Which isn’t ideal for a guy of his talent
Maybe he was rested given the 5 day break... master stroke by nicks?Butts will likely go out too given he was subbed. Keane you would think comes in.
