Why didn't he leave last year?

Maybe no interest. It's a funny industry. There are guys who get pushed out for what ever reason while other GOPs get traded around like they are top shelf. Those Tom Mitchell style mids were out of style for a while but like all fashions the trends look to be changing back.

I kinda still like the idea of the King bookends. Bing was drafted playing key defender right?

Did he move because he preferred forward or because Suns tested him there for best bang for buck on field and bums on seats impact. I think that would have the biggest on field impact for us. The only shadows being cast is theirs over the opposition all over the ground.

He's probably on $1 million per year as a KPF after moving states. Doubt we spend that on a potential back man.

Seb Ross's speed away from stoppages is very underrated.

He has a bit more power then M Crouch imo

M Crouch is a pretty big powerful unit, probably more than Seb and he's never been slow. He's more just a bit boring like Macrae, racks up touches but nothing very flashy about him. He'd be absolutely free as far as a trade goes and he'd be on minimal coin. If we could get him playing as well as his brother does we'd be laughing.

Appalling development played a part.

I think we could have maximised them but none were absolute stars which is what we needed. Development sucked but drafting was borderline incompetent in that era.

Eddie McGuire mentioned that on Footy Classified last week.

He then went on to say that St Kilda are into him even more and hinted that the interest was mutual.

Its always been mutual i think

Their dream was to both play for the saints
Draft didnt work out and bing went north
He was then offered massive coin plus the 150k ambassadors money by the afl
Feom memory on here a few werw saying even the saints said he was crazy to not take it and set himself up early on

Then try and get him after a couple of years
Joffaboy do u rememebr this?
I remeber a while ago a few talking about it on here and have this vague memory of us telling his parents he would be crazy not to take that deal?

Anyone?

Don't forget he's a year younger than Brad too

Damian Barrett on Footy Classified saying Fyfe to St kilda
Completely opposite to the direction we are headed.
I cannot seriously believe the club would have one iota of interest in Fyfe.

Playing for the Pies would be massive, he would be a star...playing for St.Kilda and managing to secure a premiership or two in a legacy team however...that would be legendary.

So, you’re saying that Tom Mitchell is the paisley tie of the AFL?

Are you able to transfer these speech hiccups into your professional life?
Could be a game changer.

Love,
Boomer (with a deep interest in your personal development).
I'll ask Barrett if he can write me up something. Bloke is the champion of extending sentences to look smart.

Boomer could turn into "Descriptive label of the human being in a generational sense".

You’re good at this!

Still reckon it had more to do with the coaching. Luke dunstan was SA captain and an absolute gun

On SM-G960F using BigFooty.com mobile app

Not sure it was the coaching, i think it was Dunstan.
He was amazing as a first year player, then went backwards and stayed backwards for years eventually getting back to his original level. ( Never a good user ).
I thought that Seb was a wash out , but he got better than Dunstan. Both under the same coach.

Yeah Zach Merrett was there in the same draft.
I still don't hold it against our guys for picking Billings. IF Bulldogs had that pick they probably would have got him, and then we'd have picked Scharenberg or Freeman.

Seeing as we’ve had a fair bit of success out of South Aus lately… keep an eye on South Adelaide’s Jack Delean

181cm electric small forward capable of taking an absolute hanger… genuine matchwinner off his own boot when he’s on. Right name for our list, too.

Would be a cult figure immediately

Players like Alison or Connelly won't be Fyfe, but neither will Fyfe.
And Connelly will still be able to move his legs in 5 years time.

Doubt he would last to pick 18
