Why, from virtually the outset, do we always champion the undersized (often even a bit one-paced) kid who we know will slip back a bit? It rarely proves to be a boon for us. I'd rather hope that someone shows form a bit late and firms at around our pick. The deeper you go in the draft, the more it's a case of diminishing returns when it comes to 'what you see is what you get' type players who have already been overlooked.
