Omitted a couple weeks ago.
We should be able to get a Brodie or Bowes deal.

Interesting to see rankines stats since joining Adel.
Kicks up 20%, Marks almost doubled, Goals up 50%.

Need to get him out of that wasteland now.

We could have got Rankine for 10 cents on the dollar in 2021, hopefully this year we do it with Hollands

I wonder what club policy will be on drafting tasmanians WHEN new tassie team is announced this year

colby mckercher looks a likely type that would be in mix

bit tall for us at 182 though

He's a jet and a near on certainty to go top 5, on fire again on the weekend albeit it was against the NT Thunder. Son of a gun Jack Callinan slotted 7 snags in the same game.

Crows not even mentioned.

if no Kozi and HH unlikely, looks like Redman the only obvious hopeful in. I was hoping for more but let’s hope the brain trust pulls another rabbit out

Makes sense we aren’t in the picture given we’ve re-signed Butts.
All his family is up in QLD? i thought it’s been reported here that the parents have moved to Adelaide in recent years?

either way, Crows not being mentioned whilst Tigers, Lions and Swans are. Perhaps we aren’t given it a shot as per Butts extension as you say. Is Kangas Mc Kay worth a look as our feral neighbours are seemingly interested?

Yeah, I'm cutting his replacement, Brown.

I just jumped straight to yes/no on Keane and Brown, under the assumption that we'd really already replaced Seed and McAsey with them.
Seed & Brown are both on the rookie list. However, McAsey is on the senior list - so delisting him creates a free position there, rather than on the rookie list (where Keane currently resides).

mckercher is somewhere between dylan shiel and gulden as a player, maybe not exactly what we need but still ..a good player is a good player

Yeah he’s a pretty complete midfield prospect. I doubt we’re in the range for him though, could be the first Tassie top 5 prospect since Kade Kolo

Genuine question, has Chad Wingard got anything left to offer a good side? Or more specifically a good forward line?

Turns 30 in a couple months and his stats are trending downward in a bad Hawthorn side. But at his best he was a 50+ goal small forward.

Don't get me wrong I've never liked him as a bloke. But if we could end the midfield experiment and just play him as a dangerous forward next to Rankine, and allowed Rachele and Pedlar more midfield time. Could he be a low cost/ high upside transaction for a couple years?

That time is long past.

A couple of seasons ago I would have been interested.
Now? No way.

I’m not sure about Wingard, but in general we should be starting to look at low-cost, possibly older impact players over the next couple of years, considering we seem to be coming into a contending window. Just to top up areas of need, fill any gaps
